I bought a Nissan Micra from RC Nissan situated at Aggarwal Auto Mall in Shalimar Bagh, Delhi on 31st December 2011 and was surprised to find out that the insurance amount which RC Nissan as included in the total cost of the car was about 12,000 above the current market price.

When we went back to the company to claim this balance, I was told that the discount on the car that was given by RC Nissan was given after considering all these factors, whereas at the time of purchase, nothing like this was mentioned by RC Nissan sales staff. The insurance amount that was included in the price of the car was Rs. 22,000 and the document that I got from bharti AXA insurance company states that the premium amount is Rs. 15,292.

I requested RC Nissan staff to convert the insurance to a full insurance which considers no depreciation and I deposited Rs. 4,070 more over the Rs. 22,000 already paid for insurance to RC Nissan for this on 11th January 2012, but did not receive the insurance policy until 25th January 2012. When i called the Sales staff of RC Nissan on 25th January 2012 about the insurance policy, they informed me that the insurance for which I had deposited money, cannot be done for my car. The staff at RC Nissan did not bother to call me all this time to inform me that my policy request had been cancelled. Also, I have not received the Rs. 4,070 I had deposited for this refunded by RC Nissan.

I am sure that RC Nissan cannot charge me extra from the market rate and therefore I want to be compensated for the same and a written apology from RC Nissan for all the inconvenience caused.

Please advice me in this regard.
