Dear Sirs,

My friend had booked an i20, sportz version with Trident Hyundai, Sankey Road, Bangalore during the month of December 2011. After a lot of research and test drives performed, this booking was done. Before booking the car, the sales guy at Trident hyundai showroom - promised a Dec. 2011 model car and a list of accessories. The full payment was done and a delivery date was promised by the sales guy. Me and my friend enquired sales guy for the chasis number of the car and he never gave the right chasis number of the car. Confirmed with the sales guy atleast 3 times and he again and again cofirmed it to be dec 2011 model. We being newbie's and not so sound about how to find a car's model took the delivery with the words of showroom guys. Later on decoding the chasis number we found out that its not a Dec 2011 model, rather a 5 month old Aug 2011 model. We were also promised a confirmation mail for this claiming it to be a Dec 2011 model (from Hyundai motors India) but have not yet received it.

Also we were promised a list of accessories which after the delivery we were told that "sir, in your model this can not be fitted." Then why did they promised/fooled us in starting - just so that we book the car thinking its a better deal with them? Serious cheating this is.

Please guide and help with this cheated consumer case.

Thanks,
Deepak
