I purchased Tata Indigo Diesel car from Joshi Auto Zone,Industrial area Phse II Chadigarh and Tata Motors in Dec 2008.The car was given 18 months warranbty and then another 18 months extended warranty on payment of charges.This extended warranty is valid for 1,50,000kms or 36 months after pourchase of car.
My car has done 80,000 kms and its clutch system has plonked but they are not replacing it under extended warranty although it is mentioned as covered as per the terms of the extended warranty.The ground they are using is that normal wear and tear is not covered. If it is so why they have given a warranty of 1,50,000 Kms whilke my car has done only 80,000 kms.
They are eliberatly shirking their liablity and people at large must know that they should not fall into this trap of extended warranty.
Tata cars need a lot of repairs.That is why they trap us into extended warranty policy and then backout.
