    sir i have skoda fabia of name of ( ankuj mittal) in surat (gujrat ) in petrol version sir on 7th july in running car wiring was burunt so i have told to skoda dealer blitz auto they came and toll my car to service station and estimate 3.25 lacks to insurence company but day by day they missguide me and my car will totaly damage in service station so i have return my car on 2nd august . because insurence company said wiring is not insured in policy .and company said you have inpute c.n.g kit so skoda has no liability so please tell me sir how can we get dission .

    I bought a Skoda Superb about on 20th August (Friday) from a Skoda dealership in Gurgaon India- Giriraj motors and the front tyre had a massive leak within the first 40 kms of my ride home on day one. I had called the contact person at the dealership on the same day and lodged a complaint about this and was asked to get the tyre in for inspection on Monday which is what I did.

    After so many days of being unable to use my vehicle due to no spare being available, I finally had a closure from them today (11 days from date of the flat) that they would not be able to do anything as the tyre needs to be replaced and I have to do it on my own cost.


    My relationship with Skoda has gotten off to a poor start and left a very poor taste in my mouth. My first ride in the car with the family turned out to be a miserable expedition with me having to change the tyre in the rain, with the excitement giving way to disappointment.

    While its possible that the car tyre got burst on day one due to something on the road within the first 40 kms of its life, the probability of it being damaged during the time of the car’s transportation is much higher! I did not stop from the Dealership to my home - so not sure at what point the side walls of the tyre can get slashed with no damage to the car whatsoever!!

    I firmly believe that the car tyre’s wall got damaged during transportation of the car and got weakened. This weakened wall finally gave way on day after I drove the car 40 kms. Or else, Skoda believes in supplying such inferior quality tyres that cannot sustain even 40km of city driving. In addition to the fact, they choose to give a spare tyre which is not an Alloy wheel, that too for such an expensive car.


    Their behaviour and service befits a car that costs as much as a Nano!!

    For all potential Skoda customers out there...BEWARE...the dealerships that Skoda has appointed are only interested in selling the vehicle...after that they would rather not have anything to do with you!

    Default very bad treatment and service from skoda Egypt - artoc auto maintenance

    Dear Messrs.
    I have a Fabia station model 2004, I got it from Egypt , and my name is Dahlia Ihab Elwi. I put my car in the maintenace on July 22, 2010. My complain is that while giving it the full spead it stops so I have to restart the engin. i gave it to the maintenance agency and they asked for a karank seansor and they let me bought it from outside as they dont have so I got it and gave it to them, then they said we changed 2 bobina and petrol filter and other small stuff , but still it didnt work and then they found that the control is broken so we have to buy one from outside , that was bigging of August 2010 and they rold me try to find it but I couldnt so they told me after 4 days it will come so give us a deposit of 3ooo Le so i paid on the 22nd of september and it didnt come, so again told me to wait till 21 of October and I waited and nothing , till November 6 no one repoly to me , no answering mobiles I went that day and they told me they will get it by DHL and still till begining of Dec. and on the 5th they got it and put it and told me it works and that control coasts 5000 LE, after one day Dec. 7 they told me no its not the control and the problem is in the motor and you have to get a new motor for 35,000 LE. belive it. I went yesterday quareling and asked them how could you let the car all that long and you didnt know the reason and made me pay and buy all this spare parts and still the same complain and now you are telling me its the motor, how come I refer to the agency and make this and now they want me to pay 97500 and take my car with the same complain + it was moving and running when i got it in that place and now its not and i have to get another car to take it. I refused to pay and asked to see this or I will go to The consumer hekp instuitution. so they said ok wait till sunday.

    I am supose to go to them on sunday to see and pay and take the car , but I need your help please. I cant pay all this and still my car didnt even move a strp.

    Post complaint against skoda fabia

    i have this problem with side window mainly right front and left rear. its that will stuck all on a
    sudden. wont even move once i opened it . i took my car to dealer . i don know how many times since i bought.it was like my car was mostly in service station. Th most foolish matter is their explanation for this. Its because of rain th switch getting fungus.aren't the company ashamed of giving this reply. when Indian made cars cruising the road without an problem.please don buy this car my opinion

    Dear sir,
    I had purchased this car because it was Diesel and good for city Driving. (My other car Is Toyota Corolla which is excellent to drive and the ride is beautiful).
    As soon as the vehicle was purchased I had a problem on highway and the turbo had to be replaced during my tour to Gujarat. The ride was very bumpy and I thought it was because it had MATADOR branded O.E.M Tyre's. I complained during all services and the service centre convinced me that Fabia has sports/Stiff type suspension hence bumpy ride.( Who wants a sporty ride on Indian roads ! Comfort ride is more important ).
    Any way Recently I changed the tyre's to Michelin but the problem of bumpy rides remains. Yesterday I had a chance to drive a Suzuki Swift and maruti 800 and i noticed they had a softer and comfortable ride.
    Do you think my car can have a softer ride, I appreciate your advice at earliest as I am 57 yrs old and I don't like bumpy rides. ( Recently the speedometer is faulty and the L.H.S front window does not operate from passenger side, and the AC is noisy)

    Default skoda fabia AC not working

    i bought a new skoda fabia form tafe access in the year 2010. i had a problem with my AC not working. I had given it for servicing 1st at Mahaveer skoda hyderabad and explained about AC not working. They rectified the fault and had charged Rs 3400 for that. When asked about Warrenty claim they denied. According to me it should come under warranty as there was a refrigerent leakage as well as AC compressor oil leakage. they have charged for refrigerent and oil topping up.as it is a manufacturing defect this should come under warrenty.

    Dear Sir,

    We bought SKODA FABIA bearing registered number AP 09 BS 2900 in the
    Name of Goverdhan Industries at Mahavir Skoda, Somajiguda, Hyderabad.

    From the date of purchase we are facing lot of problems with the Car Engine, break system and with A/C system.

    Engine also got stopped all of a sudden in the middle of the way. we complained the same to Skoda service centre .After a lot of struggle they changed the head of the engine (It is a shameful thing that company like Skoda have to change engine head in first year).Even after replacing the head we are facing same problem again and again.

    Recently while we were on the way to hospital with a pregnant woman all of a sudden the car get stopped in the middle of the way and in the middle of the traffic. And we get humiliated with the public around us and we have to travel by auto to hospital in such an emergency case. .And once while we were on the way to our industry which is 80 kms away from city again all of a sudden car get stopped in the middle of the high way during the night time while returning to home. This kind of incidents occurred many times with us

    After the 2 years warranty period also the problems are same with the car and we nearly incurred Rs 50000/- to 60000/- and we have to send the car to showroom for every two months for repair.

    Sir Money is not a problem for us as we are already using so many cars. But using SKODA FABIA is like giving torture to our self and my whole family members fear to travel in SKODA FABIA. People Buy Car for their comforts and Luxurious but here the case is different, we buy FABIA for taking headache and giving problem to my family members and also to spend a lot of money for repairs.

    Recently in the month of JUNE we send the car to showroom as it is giving Jerks and getting stopped in between and they charged nearly Rs 20000/- for the problem. But after 10 – 15 days the car is getting same problem again and now when we send the car for the checkup they the are demanding Rs10000/- more for the repair. Is this is the way you CHEAT THE CUSTOMERS repeatedly in the name of services and spares.

    We are having so many brands of cars with us like Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, and Ford and even we are also having TWO SKODA OCTAVIA with us. But we are not having any problems with Skoda Octavia and even with other brands,
    Right now our car is in the servicing centre it self and they are asking to change RELAY for which they are charging around Rs.8000/-

    As the problems are coming very repeatedly again and again, we are requesting you to replace the car with new one.

    If no action is taken in this matter we will take this issue to the Consumer Court as well as to Media. So that people will get aware and every one gets to know that Skoda is manufacturing defected cars and cheating people on the name of service and spares.

    Hope, my problem may get solved at least from the head office this time.

    Default Ordeal at Tafe

    Hi,
    This is regarding the ordeal we are going through post our decision to buy a Skoda Fabia 1.2 TDI Elegance” (color: Beige)

    The Dealer: Tafe Access Limited – Hosur Road Branch.
    Customer name: Mr. Ashok Patel. C/o Hanuman wood industries, Bommanahalli.
    Booking Amount Paid: 8000.00
    Dated: 30/ 08/2011.
    Promised time span before delivery post 30th Aug 2011:15 to 20 days Maximum.

    We had been in contact with 1 executive Mr. Shivanand at the dealer’s place who in turn stated that his boss as Mr. Jose Thomas (GM for the showroom) would be part of the team who would be offering customer support to us. All was well till the date it has been promised that the car will be delivered . We were all set to pay upfront as we require the car as early as possible. The executive told us that the car will take atleast a dozen days to be delivered which made us think about the loan for the same. The idea that the loan could also be beneficial to us by means of accounting and taxation fueled the need for loan. We were told by the executive to approach ICICI Bank for the same.

    We did as said and were in dialogue with the bank thru the bank executive. As per the recommendation by the bank loan executive, it is better for us to wait till the car reaches the dealer and gets allotted to us, and then proceed with the loan finalization, however our approval and other verifications etc can be finished off. All were done as planned and the bank executive seemed helpful and courteous.

    Post 20th when we enquired about the status of delivery of our car, the TAFE executive had no clear answer and fumbled a lot while he asked for 2 more days of time. Well we had no problem in allowing the 2 days as asked by the executive from Skoda.

    The next time we called after the allowed 2 days, the executive was bolder and demanded 3 more days. We agreed even though we did not want to as there is nothing much we could do about this. The asking / demanding more time for delivery only kept on happening for 4 more of our calls from the span of 20th September 2011 till the 1st October 2011.
    Furious by the uncouth and non professional behavior, we demanded the executive’s visit to our premises and wanted a final date from him as to when the delivery can be made. The executive in consultation with his GM, Mr. Jose Thomas promised delivery within 15 days. We gave them a grace period and said we give 20 days but that should be the final postponement. This but we demanded in an email communicate.

    The mail with the said terms did not reach us and thus we wanted to enquire about that and the executive to our surprise stated that our car has been allotted. Engine and chasis number has been communicated to them from the company and thus the car will reach us in a couple of days. As the day approached, we called in to know the status and the executive told us that the car has come and we may take delivery.

    Meanwhile we had the bank procedures on hold due to the inconsistent delivery promises from the dealer side. We did tell them that this is the situation, and thus the bank will take 2 days to give the hire purchase amount cheque to the dealer. Meanwhile we asked the executive to come and collect the Down payment cheque for Rs. 2.32 lakh.

    Since we did not see anyone from Skoda to collect the down payment cheque, towards the fag end of the day we called them to check what happened. The executive gave us a weird excuse that the day was cloudy and rainy time to time. To our enquiry as to when he could come and collect the cheque, he said that he ll return us a call in 10 minutes to confirm.
    Indeed the executive called us (for the first time ever) but to give us this shocker and said "Sir, Your car has been sold to some other customer by my GM!" The bad customer service was topped up by even bad blow to us. He said that if we need, we can take a white car that was always available (the car that they all compelled us most of the time to pickup and we denied all the time) . The executive was not done, till he told us that if we needed the same Beige color car, we will have to wait for a month or more.

    We are speechless!!!

    Help us and choose words for us now…
    I guess we will pursue this even if we have to take time off our business and spend a while at the consumer forum.
    This calls for a small doubt from us that even if the down payment was taken from us by the executive, they wouldn’t mind making us run pillar to post for the car. How trust worthy are the dealers of Skoda? Is this the same everywhere? Everyone?

    Check your all detail and document's if A/c and compressor oil leakage services problems are under the warranty then you can go on head office and submit your all issues. If your problems are under the warranty period so they fix it.

    This might be just a regular complaint for you but it might concern you when you will start lossing your valued customers.

    Hoping you might take it seriously but i am really not sure about your prefrences that you are more interested in sales or services.

    Seeing your dealers working it feels it is only for sales and not services.Rest is up to you how you want to put your customers feed backs.

    In Delhi alone I have seen around 3-4 of your dealers has closed there showrooms and taken dealership of VW or some other company dealership

    which clearlly shows how bad is your services are . hoping you are going to improve this.

    Now regarding my complaint , I have purchased a deisel fabia in Dec. 2010 from your dealer JAI AUTO mathura road, new delhi. Now my car is standing

    there since almost 45 days for which i have been regularlly going and talking on phone for the replacement of the car as my car within a span of 10 months

    the engin has stopped working and they say they cant do anything and to get it repaired we need to pay for it and over and above they are abusing and

    saying do whatsoever you can do but niether we are going to change the car nor repair it . Now if this is your service I really dont know how skoda is going

    to servive in near future and that to in such a big market like INDIA were almost every car company wants to come. I personally would not recommend

    any one to by a skoda but might be more persons like me who would facing the same problem like this.

    I would be waiting for your reply till Tuesday i.e 6/12/2011 after which i would have no option but to proceed through consumer court and through media

    about your services.

    I have already couriered the letter to the MD in Mumbai and GM services in Banglore but no reply has been received from them. This would be my last try

    with your complaint cell.

    Hoping to have a good response from you if not then i have only above two options left to do it.

    Respected Sir,
    I had purchased new skoda fabia ambiente diesel from krishna auto chandigarh, on 2-2-2012. I had driven only 350 kms in three days. At morning 6-2-2012, I saw some engine oil leaking down. I immediately gone to Krishna auto chandigarh. By reaching there, company representatives did not took attention, but after contacting their DGM after sales (Mr. Kuljinder Kler), they immediately submitted the vehicle for inspection. They almost opened half the engine including all fittings, timing belt etc. but still they told me that there is a minor leaking in the ring holding the filter body. They told me for delivering the vehicle next morning about 11 am. Next day Tuesday, 7-2-2012 at about 11 am I gone to the company for taking delivery but I saw they are still fitting the vehicle and after enquiry they told me that they will change the total filter body after taking approval from head authorities. So they requested me to took delivery tommorow evening. At today on wednesday, 8-2-2012 I called the company officer DGM after sales, Mr. Kuljinder Kler, but they told me to wait because they still had not solved out the problem and the problem is very major. They had to took approval from the higher authorities. I requested them to solve he problem otherwise change the car.
    Sir, they are harrassing me again and again. Look I have bought a new car and I had given all the payment to the company and still i had not enjoyed the comfortness of the car. They are telling me to wait and wait. I am not having any vehicle to drive and do all my necessary works. At last, I had decided to complaint against the company. Pls help me out and do the neccessary action against the Krishna Auto Chandigarh.

    I had already submitted a complaint against new skoda fabia ambiente diesel engine oil leakage bearing temp no. CH 40 T 1897 to you. Sir, I am in trouble and the company Krishna Auto Sales Chandigarh is mentally harrassing me again and again. Please take immediate action against my complaint and do needful help. I will be highly thankful to you. Otherwise, I will be in mentally trouble against this new car because of this car, I had not concentrated on my lief as well as my work. My life had been disturbed due to this car poblem
