Due to some technical glitch the power steering of my Mahindra Renault Logan(2008-Dec) failed to work,on approaching the service center I was told my car has run for 92,000 KM and my warranty has turned void after the mentioned mileage.I was told that I had 2 yrs of International warranty and Renault being an International brand I had complete faith in there service & product during my purchase.
I am been forced to shell out 34,000 Rupees for the steering pump mechanism ,the service center manager says its a MANUFACTURING DEFECT where there is a thermal envelop failure due to which the pump has been damaged .Since its a Manufacturing defect and the product is under warranty the company is not ready to replace this mechanism .Its just not possible to shell out 34,000 Rupees for a mediocre quality of parts and services.
I would strongly suggest people to give it a second thought before investing on Mahindra Renault for their mediocre quality of parts and services.
