This is with reference to the Tata Indica Xeta Model No1.2 GLG (DL4CU
9979).... which was purchased by me on 31 May 2008. I had also taken an
extended warranty period of 4 yrs for the same. Since then I have been
getting the car checked at the Him motors service station from the same
place from where the car was purchased at the following address d-9,Udyog
Nagar, New Rohtak Road, New Delhi-110041 ... Not even once have I given it
for servicing outside or at some other place. Moreover it does not make
sense when I have taken an extended warranty period for the same.
Recently, since the beginning of this month, my car started giving some
trouble with respect to the engine. I took the car to the same station on 8
Feb 2009. There I was told that a part namely ECU had stopped working &
since it was not available with them, I should get it arranged from some
other place. However I told them that it was their responsibility not mine
since it was still the warranty period & just 9 months since I purchased the
car. They agreed & on 18 Feb 2009 I got a call from the service station
saying that the part was available & I could collect the car on 23 Feb 2009.
But on 23 Feb too, the problem with the engine persisted.
I had already been facing a lot of inconvenience by their misguidance & they
further misled me by alleging that the existing ECU was not 2008 made but
2006 made. And that I had given my car for servicing outside their station.
However when I asked them to give me the same in writing they outrightly
refused to do so.
To add to my agony I was also threatened that if I take it further the
warranty period would be nullified by them along with the extension. Finally
I received the car but after running smoothly for barely a week it has
started giving the same problem at random intervals. Again a few days back I
left the car with the station & now they told me that the problem was with
the CNG settings in the car. However I got it rectified from there as well
but of no use.I have just been asked to go to & fro from the service station
& the CNG station. The car appears to have become a truck making wierd
sounds from the engine & otherwise as well. I have to take leaves frequently
for the above mentioned process & have thereby received a notice from my
office. The situation for me has become unbearable now both personally as
well as professionally. They have been playing around with words for a very
long time now. It appears from their dilly dallied attitude that either they
do not want to repair the car perfectly, thereby avoiding the obligation
under warranty or there is some major fault with the car which would be
deterimental for a genuine & innocent customer.
It has been almost an entire month of inconvenience & constant harassment by
the service station staff. I have been constantly misguided & there has been
no cooperation from their end at any level which has forced me to lodge this
complaint against them. Below mentioned are the names of the people involved
at fault:

2. Managing Director (Him Motors) - Mr. Bassi
I thereby hope to seek your cooperation for the above mentioned with the
replacement of my car with a new one.
Kindly do the needful & help me fight back this fraudulent procedure in the
best possible manner.
