    My dear friends,

    Maine 2000 mein tata indiaca car purchase ki, tata ne indica tab lonch hi ki thi, I faced too many problems, tyer ekdum bekar, ac third class, or service bilkul nikemi, then after 3 or 4 years tata ne indica mein kai changes kiye, phir thodi si thik hui.

    Or 1 baat, ager TATA indica ka engine khul jai to use koi bhi thik nehi kar sakta, even tata company bhi nehi,

    So my dear friends, do not get so exited, just wait and watch the performance of the car for at least 1 year, kehi aisa naa ho ki moter cycle sell kar ke car li or phir BEKAR ho gey.

    Thanks for sharing the experience.It is really educating for future deals.Buyers
    in general confide cent percent in the dealer/seller.In fact , for buying new
    vehicle, one enters into agreement on agreed terms.One has to be alert and must
    demand all that as per terms of purchase.
    All clauses related to terms of sale/purchase must be read clearly and
    understood without any amibiguity in interpretation.In cases where there is
    hidden meaning,explanation must be obtained before agreeing to.This will safe
    guard your interest.

    Default Issue with my Tata Vehicle

    Hi Everyone.

    I had bought a New tata Vehicle and had taken it for the first time.

    For my Surpsie the FrontBonnet openend Automatically and Hit the Hit the Front Glass .

    I asked Tata’s to Verify and the Answer was the Lock is Proper and the Bonnet was left Open before Driving.

    The Very fact that the ribbon was tied to the Bonnet as this was a new Vehicle indicated that it was never Openend. Please suggest me on what i should do.

    A New Vehicle and such a response from Tata’s ie really dissapointing.

    Also my Request to all the Tata Nano Purchasers. Please think twice before buying Tata Vehicles.

    I booked ICICI online booking nano on 25-4-09 my confirmation no. 200904258022941.
    I have recieved KYC document submition today by SMS i.e., 29-4-2009 14:40 hrs., when i went to ICICI bank Nariman Point, Free press journal building. ICICI Bank Nano booking Finance person, Employee No:166319 Mr.Pravin Pawas refused to take the document saying that last date for document submition is 27-04-2009. I haven't recieved any email for confirmation about the form submittion.

    I cancelled my TATA NANO booking on 30.09.2009 and as informed waited for 30days but on 30th day i.e. 30.10.2009 i get a call from TATA Pune office asking for my account number, name, address and other details and when i ask the executive why he is taking all the details now, when i was supposed to recv my refund cheque he says sorry and informs me that i will recv my refund chq in 10days. After waiting for 10days i call the call centre and lodge a complaint and below are the facts and i am still waiting for the refund cheque. Today it is 19.11.2009. It is one month 20days. Still waiting..............

    He says that they don't have a manager in their organisation

    Gave me head office number 022-66158400 and asked me to speak to Mishika. When i call receptionist transfers the call and the phone is disconnected and when i once again call that number she gives me a number 022-66158486 and asks me to speak to Ms Ami...the story goes on and on....

    Default MY TATA EXPERIENCE...must read...VERY IMPORTANT B4 U BUY TATA CAR

    I AM A OLD CUSTOMER OF TATA AND PURCHASED TATA INDICA IN 2005
    (GJ1HJ1417) FOR 4.3 LAKHS BUT ALL I GOT IS BIG PROBLEMS AND SUFFERINGS.
    EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY PARTS USED OF CAR AND MORE POOR IS THE QUALITY
    CONTROL AND WORSE IS DEALER SERVICE. I SOLD IT OFF JUST IN 2.5 YEARS AT
    40% PRICE AND THEN I DID THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE I TRUSTED TATA
    PEOPLE AND PURCHASED TATA INDICA DICOR (GJ-1HP-8692) FOR 4.5 LAKHS. TATA
    PEOPLE HAD ASSURED ME THIS TIME I WONT FACE ANY PROBLEMS AS THIS IS A
    MUCH IMPROVED VERSION. THEY WERE RIGHT. I DIDNT FACE THE OLD TROUBLES
    BUT A WHOLE NEW TYPE OF TROUBLES. MY INDICA DICOR IS 20 MONTHS OLD AND
    IN 40 DAYS OF PURCHASE ITS ENTIRE COOLANT ASSEMBLY FAILED, HAD TO BE
    REPLACED AS IT FAILED AND COOLANT LEAKED, 2ND ITS POWER STEARING FAILED
    (WITHIN 75 DAYS OF PURCHASE) AND COMPLETE ASSEMBLY OVERHAUL COSTING
    27,000. ENGINE BELT WHICH RUNS MIN 1LAKH KMS BREAKS COMPLETELY AFTER
    EVERY 5000 - 10,000 KMS AND NOW ITS POWER WINDOWS FAILED WHICH ARE NOT
    COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THESE ARE THE MAJOR PROBLEMS FACED APART FROM 20
    OTHER SMALL PROBLEMS OUT OF WHICH 10 PROBLEMS ARE STILL PENDING AS NO 1
    CAN REPAIR THEM.
    10 PENDING PROBLEMS:
    1. EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY & NOISY SUSPENSION. EVEN MY BIKE SUSPENSION
    ARE BETTER.
    2. DOORS & SEATS RATTLE AS IF A LOCAL BUS .
    3. WINDOWS WHEN OPEN MAKE MUCH NOISE (NOT ABLE TO FIX AT ALL)
    4. ENGINE BUSHING HAS PLAY HENCE ENGINE VIBRATES AND MAKES NOISE ON
    ROUGH ROAD. (TO BE REPAIRED IN NEXT SERVICE)
    5. AT TIMES ELECTRIC LIGHTING & HORN SYSTEM SUDDENLY FAILS AND
    AUTOMATICALLY RECOVERS ON ITS OWN WISH.
    6. AT TIMES THE KEY FAILS TO START THE ENGINE AS IT DOESNT MOVE AND GETS
    STUCK
    7. BACK SIDE DOOR ONE NEEDS TO BANG TO CLOSE IT (PROBLEM SINCE DAY 1)
    8.AT SUDDEN PICKUP ENGINE EMITS EXTENSIVE QUANTITY OF BLACK SMOKE. SO
    MUCH THAT YOU IF YOU LOOK IN BACK REAR VIEW MIRROR ALL YOU SEE IS BLACK
    SMOKE NOTHING ELSE.
    9. RETARDING PICKUP (WHICH THEY NEVER ADMIT)
    10. AC FAN IS TOO NOISY (TATAS PERMANANT FEATURE) EVEN AT LOW SPEEDS
    UNLIKE IN ALL OTHER NON TATA BRANDS.
    NOW I GOT SEVERAL FEEDBACKS THAT INDICA VISTA FAILS ANYTIME AND CAR
    COMES TO A STAND STILL ANYTIME ANYWHERE.
    I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND IF SUCH IS THE QUALITY THAT TATA DELIVERS IN 4.5
    LAKHS THEN WHAT WILL THEY GIVE IN NANO? THAT TOO TATA MASTERS IN DIESEL
    ENGINE TECHNOLOGY. MY QUESTION TO YOU. WHEN A CO MAKES A PETROL CAR IN
    WHICH THEY DONT HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE AND WHICH MASTERS IN DIESEL
    TECHNOLOGY ONLY AND GIVES IT JUST FOR 1 LAKH PLUS WHEN ITS MASTERED
    DIESEL TECHNOLOGY CAR WORTH 5 LAKHS FAILS ON ROADS WITH 3RD CLASS PARTS,
    NO QUALITY CONTROL AND SERVICE SUCH POOR THAT YOU WILL EVEN GET BETTER
    SERVICE AT A MOTORCYCLE SERVICE CENTER AND WHEN ITS SERVICE CENTER
    ENGINEERS / SUPERVISORS ARE JUST WAITING TO FIGHT WITH YOU 24X7 THEN
    ............WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN 1 LAKH PLUS CAR? YOU SHOULD THINK A
    MILLION TIMES BEFORE YOU BUY NOT ONLY NANO BUT EVEN THEIR 8 LAKH RS
    SAFARI AS I HAVE PERSONALLY SEEN A CUSTOMER TRYING TO SET ABLAZE HIS NEW
    SAFARI AS IT HAD REPEATED PROBLEM WHICH A TATA MOTORS FAILED TO RECTIFY
    TILL TIMES OF INDIA COVERED IT.
    I APPEAL TO PEOPLE NOT TO GO FOR TATA CARS COME WHAT MAY. IF YOU HAVE
    ANY DOUBTS SEARCH THE NET AND YOU WILL FIND 90% CAR COMPLAINTS ARE OF
    TATA AND PENDING 10% FROM THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY. IF YOU ALREADY ARE A TATA
    CUSTOMER.......THEN ONLY GOD CAN HELP YOU. BECAUSE I SUFFERED TOOO MUCH
    SO I CONSIDER IT MY DUTY AND RIGHT TO INFORM OTHERS AND MAKE THEM AWARE

    Tata nano has worst service backup there dealer in agra ashoka has no idea about the faults in vechile they are not aware about the working of the vechile my car has gone to this dealer it has been 15days still they have no clue about the problem, so think 1000 times before buying a nano.

    Default TATA Nano Car - Delay in Cancellation and Refund my amount debitted in advance

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    I am S.L. Ganesan rencetly retired from TNEB (Tamil Nadu Electricity Board), Vellore. I have booked a Tata Nano car on 08-10-2009 through car loan in SBI, Vellore for Rs.1,40,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fourty Thousand Only). My pre-loan sactioned by Vellore branch and communication reached to my home town Gudiyattam SBI branch on 08-09-2009. Due to some personnel reasons I have submitted my cancellation letter to Gudiyattam SBI branch on 15-02-2010 as instructed by the local Tata delear who interacted for this offer. This cancellation was directly submitted in SBI, Gudiyattam and I was informed that no other addition action is required from my side for this.

    Considering the verbal confirmation I was wating for an confirmation letter from either Tata or SBI. Till date I have not received any of these letter.

    Suddenly on 01-10-2010 Rs.60,000/- was debited from my wife account which was mentioned for future repayment. Account number is 30516950363. I have taken this up directly to the Cheif Manager in SBI, Gudiyattam and he is telling that he will take care of this and get my money back to my account. I have followed this up with Vellore branch as well but unfortunately they mentioned this has to be followed up only with Gudiyattam branch. I have did more than 10 times follow up to get back my money till date I am just getting the same response stating I will get my money back in a short while.

    Again one more big surpise is I have received a debit note to my account for Rs. 21,855/- on 03-01-2011. I have strictly instructed my bank manager not to process this note. And I am still following up for getting my Rs.60,000/- to my account which do not have any positive sign till date. Below are the few more additional details for reference and future communication.

    Angry Arrogant Tata Motors ignores Nano Fire Hazard

    Consider yourself lucky that you cancelled your allotment and you will receive the Refund someday. Consider our plight. Less than 5 months old Tata Nano LX and run less than 3000 Kms. (i use it sparingly). Two weeks ago received a phone call from Concorde Motors (dealership owned by Tata Motors) asking me to take the car to OMR Check point, a service dealer in Chennai, as there was a "Recall Notice" of the Wiring Kit, and as my car is still under warranty, they will replace the wiring kit free of cost. I took the car in and it was done - "free of cost". The very next time I drove the Car out, the rear of the car burst into flames !!! Luckily i was in a busy & crowded junction and the people gathered around, poured sand etc and put out the fire. Called the 24-hour hotline and OMR Check point came in and towed the car etc. Now, after their inspection, they say that there was an "EXternal Object" - a plastic sheet, was found in the engine compartment which melted and caused the wiring kit to burn. So, it was my fault and they want me to pay for the repairs. It is obvious that they had carelessly left behind the plastic sheet when they replaced the wiring kit. I do NOT even know how to open the Engine compartment. But how do I prove this is their carelessness ? (1) I run the risk of being burnt alive in this Nano and (2) I have to pay for repairs every time the car burns --- what a bad deal ! am very sad i bought Nano.

    Angry TATA NANO: Left Lower arm got damaged- irresponsible behavior of dealer/service pers

    Hi, I belong to Gondia, Mharastra. My Nano's left lower arm got damaged. I talked to local dealer in Gondia. Rather than helping he rudely said he only sells the new NANO's but does not look for service problems.[see the kind of response and attituade of TATA dealer where tata is having large dream to taste the grand success of thier youngest child. Then we did contact to Nagpur ( nearest big city) and the dealer asked us to bring the vehicle by towing it from Gondia to Nagpur ( its 140 Km and tow charge is around Rs. 5000/- where as lower arm should not cost more than Rs 2000/- to 2500/-). When we told him about long distance problem and requested for providing spare part i.e. lower arm by purchasing it, he completely denied... see another TAAT personal .. not a single percent service responsibility. He added that we have to bring our Nano to Nagput then only it get fixed. Why should I take my nano there where as he can send the part to local NANO dealer in Gondia. Further I requested him that I myself can come to NAGPUR to purchase the part and will bring it to Gondia but again great great dealer denied and closed the conversation ubruptly. Mr Ratan TATA please do some analysis before distributiing your dealership or service outlets.

    Now its been 1 week and I got fad-up doing this excercise. Provided I am the first person who bought tata nano in my area and now i will make sure no body in my acquaintances and thier acquaintances too should opt for TATA Nano!!!

    Please let me know how to get rid of this problem...

    any tat nano buyers please make sure first about its service facility as well, do not get fool by simply beleiving on any agent to buy the nano...

    Any TATA personal .. what ur opinion on that????

    i used tata nano for the last 06 months there are no probem during these days. Once the nano stop to restart on self and start on by pushing only. I was only 1 km form tata service centre AJMER and feel very bad and cancell to purchase idea for tata vehicles . The points are:

    1. I phoned to tata service centre and all are ready to talk for new vehicals but no for service issue.
    2. After half an hour and 9th call to the number when I asked pl call from your number or give me the line then he received the call.
    3. I told them that the self is not proper and only the battery connection are loose and locally no machanic was ready to findout the battery and tight the wire of nano battery. They said come tomorrow and we will find the problem and then tell you the bill and they fill the job card with Rs. 250 service charges and take my two signatures . I said the vehicale is under warrenty and it is only about 6 to 8 months old and runs only 5000 + km.They said sir 6 months has passed and it is the authority (HACK) to make the bill.

    4. Next day when I told pl write down the problem on bill but they dont ready to write down the problem. Even when I asked the feedback form copy they dont give and dont take the feedback. They said pl write down what ever you think on bill when I write on bill I found that the portion was useless and they tearoff that part and destroy it.

    5. After all I asked the Tata Moters whether they received the proper (ORIGINAL) feedback forms or getting managed forms to handfull gain for the dealers and defame for the company.

    6 this is not the matter of Rs. 250+ service tax but the under warrenty case and to tight the wire charges as it is company mistake why the wire etc are loose during the servicing as the vehicle is under company call to change some part about a month ago.

    My Husband Pradeep P is working as PDI In-charge with Galaxy Motors authorized Tata dealer , Mumbai. he had purchased a TATA NANO car on 14th April, 2011 from the said dealer., his new case was destroyed completely by a fire. On informing the company about the incidence he was advised by Shri. Amol Surve, DGM, Galaxy Motors and Shri. Nitin Kataria, Customer Service Manager, TATA Motors to prevent the news being disclosed to the media and immediately arranged to get the destroyed car to the workshop. He was also told not to approach the insurance company and they assured him to replace the car immediately.Based on their assurance, he acted accordingly and waited expecting a favorable action from their end.



    Pradeep P, being an employee with TATA Motors followed the directions
    issued by his superiors and acted accordingly. However his well wishers are not at all ready to tolerate such an irresponsible act from the company’s side.

    Thumbs down Tata's Blunder Car

    Poor people lose money while Tata makes "HONEY".Duping the customers by any method that comes to their mind,Tatas have gone a long way to multiply the legacy of JRD.May be they should change the name from TATA to THENGA.
