I bought a 5-searter Versa DX1 from Maruti on April 9, 2009. There was overheating in the car within the first one month. The matter was brought to the notice of an authorized Maruti service station on April 28, 2009 itself. I was told that the problem has been rectified. But this nagging problem of overheating kept coming back again and again. Every time it was reported, some work was done by the authorized service station and the problem would come back again. I have documentary proof of having reported this problem on at least four occasions, viz. 28/4/09, 25/8/09, 23/9/09 and 21/10/09. I even called the customer care of Maruti once and reported this nagging problem to them directly. The last time it was kept for about a week and attended to on May 4, 2010. But, the car got over heated on the Agra-Delhi highway very soon again on May 26, 2010 to the extent that its engine got seized. I had a tough time in reaching back to Delhi by another vehicle. My car was towed to an authorized service station and is lying there still. I do not want to take this car back now. I have had enough of it. I need appropriate compensation from Maruti not just towards this car but also towards the physical and mental agony I have borne all this while.
