Dear Sir,
I am extremely hurt, harassed and stressed by A1 Hyundai.
Address:
Town Centre
Andheri Kurla Road
Andheri East
Mumbai -400059
I am writing this post to seek any help whatsoever in getting the delivery of my car and also to warn others from buying cars from this showroom.
Here is my story. I am non resident India, visiting India for 3-4 months. When I came to India, I realised that I am spending a lot on taxis and having a car would be very convenient. I talked to different showrooms and realised that its gonna take some time to get my car delivered. Syed Anis was the sales person from A1 Hyundai who was very gentle and soft spoken and he promised to get me my car in 15 days maximum. Syed was constantly following with me on my decision to place an order. He visited my place twice and even collected the initially booking amount of the car.
That was the end of the good part. This was before Diwali 2009. After placing the order I didnt receive any calls / communication from A1 Hyundai or Syed. After 15 days (thats 2nd Nov) I called up Syed but he was avoiding my calls. Everytime I call the showroom, Syed wont take calls or return calls. Anyways, after shouting on the receptionist of A1 Hyundai, my call was forwarded to Ninit Somone. Man oh Man, he is the most rude and illogical person I have met. I asked him about the status of my car and he bluntly and proudly said "No Status". After screaming on him, he said if I'll have to change the colour and take delivery of a different car otherwise it will take a very long time and its Hyundai's problem (Haha!)
So, I was forced to change the colour of my car. I did that and visited the showroom next day and was asked to pay the remaining money which I did immediately. I was shown the Chesis and Engine number of the car and promised that the delivery of the car in 2 days. That was 4th of Nov.
Today is 17th of Nov and has been more than month of booking my car. Everyday I have been given new dates. Have called A1 Hyundai and Syed some 20 times. Have registered a complain with Hyundai. Tried talking to other people who have faced similar problem with A1 Hyundai. And trying to find out how I can file a case in consumer court and it seems even that is going to take a month. I am leaving India in Early Janaury.
I thought India is land of values of Gentlemen but my experience has changed my experience all together.
Please help me if you can and kindly avoid A1 Hyundai.
Best Regards,
Ramesh Sarda
