Dear Sir,

I bought a Hyundai Accent CLF LPG E3 from Susee Hyundai, Vellore. Before that I surveyed all other sedans in the market. But after meeting Mr. S. Manivannan M. D. Hyundai, Vellore, my long time friend and as per his advice we decided to buy a Hyundai Accent LPG car. But as there was no gas filled up in the vehicle, we couldnt test drive before taking the vehicle from Susee Hyundai. Also we believed Mr. Manivannan and so we did not check the vehicle at all.

After getting the car from them, we (me and my family) drove to Chennai on Petrol. In Chennai, we filled up Auto Gas and shifted to driving on gas. At Anna Salai in the peak hour, we got stuck in several places because the car jerked to a stop in the middle of the road and we received negative remarks from motorists behind us. We immediately called up Shri. Dhayashankar (9842624668) at Susee Hyundai Vellore and informed him about the issue. On his advice, we switched over to petrol and drove the vehicle. After returning to Vellore, we took the car to Susee Hyundai and told them about the problem we faced, as already reported from Chennai. They took three days to locate the root cause of the issue and that too, only after the arrival of Shri. Baranitharan, SKJ Asst Manager, Service & Parts from Hyundai Motor India Ltd. Chennai. We met him in Mr. Manivannans cabin. He explained the root cause and showed us the defective part which he has changed. He added that it was a "manufacturing defect" in the LPG which he repaired by replacing a part. He took the defective part with him, back to Chennai.

From that day till now we are facing serious problem with the car. That Gas tank does not fill in equal to its actual capacity. The meter reading changes evert minute... there are several problems in this new car. We are so scared to drive the car itself. The service area manager and technician came from chennai and visited they car, they themselves understood it was a manufacturing defect. But till now they have been dodging the issue.

We are extremely dissatisfied of the way in which the vehicle was sold to us. Hyundai Motor India Ltd, has not done an end-to-end check before releasing the car to the customer. Certification without checking has led to this problem and is evidently unprofessional. Why should I have defective car, when bought with a bank loan and our hard earned money?

We need them to replace the defective car.

I hope the authorities will understand my mental strain and the pain I went through. I want to let you know that I have presented this car to my parents who are retired. My sentiments are hurt for presenting a defective car to them. Thereby, I want the authorities to replace the defective car to a brand new one after proper checking and certification, at the earliest any pay for all these damages.

Particulars of the Car:
Chassis No.: MALCG41GR9M241879*E
Engine No.: G4EB9M243683
Auto LPG Tank ID No.: 846/00937
Vehicle Identification No.: 241879

Please help me in proceeding with this case.

Thanks & Regards,
Manesh Samuel John
