Dear All,
In continuation to following complaint, I would like to draw attention of following development with regards to my complaint for poor average performance of the car,
1) I was called by JMD - Sakinaka Workshop on 03/08/2012, informing that they have attended the car as per my complaint and upon there own test drive ( without me ), they are getting average of around 17-18 / Ltr, from the same vehicle. Subsquently, I was called to the showroom to evident the same as per my following mail.
2) After discussing the same with JMD - Sakinaka Workshop & with prior appointment, I visited this workshop on 06/08/2012 to verify this so called average of 17-18 Kms / Ltr and hence accordingly I went on test drive with Skoda's technician. Even the car was driven by Skoda's proficient technician.
3) As per the information provided the fuel tank was emptyed first and then was filled up with 10 Ltrs of Diesel before begining our test drive ( 2356 Kms ) and drove around 23 Kms and returned back to Skoda's Workshop ( 2379 Kms ). After returning back from test drive, we again re-checked the left over fuel, which was just 6.5 Ltr.
4) It means, the said car consumed 3.5 Ltrs of Diesel to cover up JUST 23 kms, with a average of JUST 6.57 Kms / Ltr, in city limits !!!!! This is really terrible which was never ascertained by me earlier, as mentioned in my following mail. It's real waste of my money that I paid such high amount in purchasing brand like SKODA. Outstation average which i am getting is around 11-13 Kms / Ltr.
I am not at all interested to retain such faulty car under any circumstances and would like to surrender the said car with following two options,
1) Pls return back total amount paid to JMD ( Around Rs. 10.60 Lacs including accessories ) immediately with interest of 10 % for four month, OR
2) Provide free replacement car ( same model and colour, which should give me average of 18++ Kms / Ltr ) with all the existing accessories. I also propose to claim compensation too for provding such faulty car with manufacturing defect and for wasting my valuable time in following up in this matter. There will not be any expenses to my account of what so ever on this.
I ONCE AGAIN REPEAT THAT I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING THIS CAR NOW WHEN I HAVE MADE FULL DOWN PAYMENT INSTANTLY TO 'JMD' AS REQUIRED.
It is also really very very surprising that SKODA has not shown any interest nor any courtesy in resolving the problems faced by there valued customers other than just acknowleding receipt of my complaint !!! No official from SKODA has contacted me on following mail till now !!! I really think SKODA has got very pathetic post sales service and are giving misguiding advertisments of there products.
I hope SKODA / JMD will understand the situation and will stick to there brand image and reputation and will provide me new car as replacement immediately. Failure to my above request, I will file case against SKODA and JMD in Court as well as in Consumer Court too, for providing faulty product with manufacturing defect.

MODEL : SKODA - RAPID - AMBITION 77KW TDI CR ( DIESEL )
1) Few of my colleagues have purchased SKODA - RAPID Diesel version due to excellent fuel efficiency and average. Based on there recommendations and brand value of SKODA, even I decided to purchase the SKODA - RAPID and accordingly I purchased this car on 24/04/2012 ( Just 3 mionths back ) and approx running till date is 2300 KMS. Out of this, around 2100 KMS is out of city drive.
2) In recent drive, I also observe that dashboard of the car is getting heavy moisture with AC on and can literally observe water bubbles on the dash board to some specific spots !!!!!!!
But to my dissatisfaction, right from the beginning I observed that there is some serious problem with the car in fuel efficiency and average ! On outstation travel, the said car was giving me average of just 13 KMS / LTR ( The car was driven for around 1800 KMS at that time ) on the basis of which I took up the matter with JMD's Andheri Workshop on 04/07/2012 with my strong protest on this average point. JMD's Andheri Work shop attended to my complaint and served my car accordingly. Service specifications done by them is attached here with for your ready reference. Please refer second page of the attachment. I was assured that there will not be any problem in future and will get average of around 17 / 18++ on outskirt drives positively. To verify the same, after the servicing being done on 04/07/2012, I again went on outstation drive personally to verify the average improvement as told to me and I was seriously shocked to observe that the average was reduced to ONLY 11 KMS / LTR !!!!! The average was further reduced after servicing !!!! I really do not know what average I must be getting within the city wihch I have not considered at all in this complaint !!!! I am seriously very much disappointed with this product provided and service provided to me and writing this mail to you with sheer frustration....
I sincerely do not appreciate that brand like SKODA can provide such faulty product with manufacturing defect to any body and have started feeling that it was the biggest mistake I made to opt for car from SKODA....
However, I would like to provide one more opportunity to SKODA to ascertain this situation and rectify the faults mentioned here above immediately. SKODA workshop has to show me improved fuel efficiency and improved average on outskirt Road drive along with me in person to enable me believe that the average issue is resolved by SKODA, WITHOUT ANY CHARGE TO ME.
Also note that I do not have time to visit to your workshop on this and request you to ensure pick up and drop up of the car from my following residence address under advanced intimation to me,
