    Default Reliance Car Loan EMI Complaint-Very Important

    Dear Admin/Friend,

    I have got a Car loan from Reliance Capital Ltd on last May 2008.

    I have submitted my ECS to Reliance for cutting the EMI's. But from the first month onwards ( from May 2008) due to technical problem with Reliance , Reliance is not able to cut the EMI from my Citibank through ECS.

    I have cross-checked with Citibank , they stated that its not the problem from Citibank , its the problem of Reliance , even Reliance agreed to that.

    The pain started from that point onwards :: Every month Reliance bank ( recovery agents ) started calling me about the EMI. I used to speak with them very gently and used to handover the cheques and requested to solve the problem of ECS. Every month they used to take PDC and used to ignore my ECS issue.

    My job demands frequent traveling abroad , when I'm abroad Reliance guys used to call my home / my office colleagues and used to complain I'm not paying the EMI's regularly. I lost my reputation in my company and as well my mental tension used to increase because of this disturbance.

    And even they levied late fee also without my mistake.

    From Abroad also, i used to do Online transfers to the Reliance Capital ( recovery agents).

    In Dec 2008, i finally got in touch with Collections Manager of Reliance Mr.Poornesh, he promised me he will waive off the late fee and will submit a letter stating that ECS will not be entertained , only through PDC will be given for my loan.

    With a lot of hope, i have sent a mail to him . But until now response from him despite of many reminders.

    In Jan 2008, i have lodged a global complaint to Reliance Mumbai ( Reliance Complaint:: 358746) but till now no updates.

    It became like routine whenever new month comes , recovery agents will start calling and harassing me for EMI . Whenever i ask its through ECS, they used to say pls pay EMI for this month through PDC , from next time onwards it will be through ECS. The same story is getting repeated from May 2008 to until today.

    I would require your help to get it sorted to relieve the mental tension and also the reputation i have lost in company due to repetitive calling even not being my mistake.

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us, we have send a mail to the Reliance, and waiting for their response. Apart form our side you do one thing, just get the address of the Nodal officer of the bank of your area and send a written notice to the Nodal officer, mention all the details in the Notice. This Notice will help us if we need to knock the consumer court to file a case of deficiency of services against the bank.

    Note: Send this notice through registered post only and keep the slip safe.
