dear friend
i took a new car loan from hdfc bank visakhapatnam for 225000, (loan account 15142795). everything was fine till the delivery of vehicle which i done in kerala. now 12 days passed and my vehicle is a show case item at home as i'm not able to register my vehicle. HDFC bank is not signing and stamping the Form 20, saying there is a mismatch in my quotation and invoice.
my quotation was directly faxed to bank by my dealer in kerala and he says he mentioned ex showroom price and all taxes ant the grand total. bank official says in my application the quotation column shows 375000 thatz grand total and invoice is of 339702(its ex showroom price) and the same amount is mentioned in my copy of loan document posted back to me after approval as asset value.
this is my first car and i was looking forward for onam season, which is over. pls advice me what can i do now. Customer care dept of HDFC seems to be very dull and inefficient.
can any other bank take over my loan. I'm ready to pay back the amount without any charges and interest if they provide a noc
what should do now
