Can someone tell me shere can i get a copy of the recnt decison of consumer court in which they have penalised the Finance company for repossesing the vehicle in an un lawful manner.
I am currently having to deal with IICICI delhi for such matter and their attitute of staff in collection department is very demanaing and disrespdctful

Sub: Levy Erroneous Finance Charges by ICICI BANK LIMITED against
Card No- 447***************.

I had deposited the Cheque well in advance in the ATM drop Box of ICICI, due to late Pick up or late clearance of Cheque, it showed one day delay in clearance, for which they have levied finance charges.
I was constantly in touch with them regarding reversal of Finance charges, for which they agreed, but the same was not done, it just went on, today they have loaded it with late payment fees.
Also one of the Employee of ICICI Credit Dept Mr. Ravi (Ph No- 65555627) called up & asked to pay Rs. 800/- he would then send a NIL statement. But even after making Payment they have not closed down
the account.
Inspite of Having a Good Balance in my Saving Icici account they dishonored my Investment reliance Mutual fund Cheque , without informing they linked my Saving account to My credit card account &
they have levied dishonored charges for the reliance cheque. At Present they have linked my credit card to my saving account & my account is seized
Require your assistance & quick help

Write to the Managing director of ICICI explaining and ask for rectification of the matter within 10 days of your letter. Also ask them for explanation on their e-mail. If no reply is received, complain to the
Banking Ombudsman with copies of response received from them. Effective action will be taken.
It will be interesting to know that 70% of all complaints to the ombudsman relate to credit cards

The charges which is showing in my statemnt of accounts is not correct my 3 EMI of car loan was bounced due to ICICI bank credit card department they had put lein mark in my a/c 629501503255 in the month of july 2009 and withdrawl rs 7621 from my a/c without intimating me against some credit card charges, but the charges that they had put on me was baseless and wrong. I had sent the mail to ur MD & all seniors to corporate office against this and after understanding the mistake the bank had done the reversal of rs 7621 into my a/c 629501503255 on 4th march. If u want i can send u the mail and also my credit card statements.

Due to this my emi was bounced, if u see my car loan track record from starting there was not a single EMI was bounced . I am being the customer of ICICI bank from the last 6 years and enjoying all the benefits of all the products i used PL CC AL A/C

I request you to reverse the other charges so i can clear all my dues in 2-3 months , as the problem occured by ICICI bank himself . I suffered a lot with my earlier problem and the bank had taken lots of time to do the reversal due to that my cibil was spoiled without my fault. I am ready to pay my 3 months car loan emi but without any charges .

Please provide the contact person in collection also

I am the seller of a property in Bangalore.

All property documents / details had been provided to buyer before loan sanction.

The buyer insisted that he would proceed with agreement only after he got it cleared through legal / technical team in ICICI. Valuation people came on Feb 25th or so. They apparently gave him the go ahead, after which we signed the sale agreement on March 1st.

The buyer has given EMI cheques and everything was supposedly ready for disbursement, with registration scheduled for April 3rd.

Now they are raising an objection due to horizontal deviation, deviation from plan and lack of setbacks

ICICI Bank had funded the property in 2004 and loan closed only in Jan 2010.

The loan amount approved is about Rs.20 lakhs, when purchase price is Rs.36.9 lakhs. The buyer is contributing almost 46% (Rs.16.9 lakhs). Properties in the area are sellling for Rs.40-50 lakhs. Considering that, the risk to the bank seems low.


My parents have paid an advance for another home in RT Nagar and were supposed to sign the agreement today (25th) and move this weekend (27th and 28th)

I spent almost $750 to get the PoA attested by the Indian Embassy. They asked for several documents at different points of time, but we gave them everything. They even asked for my PAN Card details, saying it was required for disbursement.

After co-operating with them completely, why are they raising this issue now?

The buyer and his wife are both employed in good companies (Fidelity and Infosys) and their down payment is quite high. Its not as if they are going to default on the loan, even if someone raises an objection later on. I am sure they will deal with it and resolve it.

Did it take them ONE MONTH to realize that there are technical deviations?


If deal falls through, who is going to compensate for all the expenses, incurred by me as well as the buyer?

I fully intend to ensure that the buyer takes up this matter in Consumer Court for compensation, since I would be deducting all my expenses + penalty from the advance payment that he has made.

I varinder singh had availed a car loan from your bank and my loan account number is LADEL00009895893. Due to unavoidable reasons my one installment was bounced.
I had made several complaints and went personally to your office in videocon tower to make payment. Your executive took my cellular number and assured me that somebody will contact me and then only I can make make payment. Till day nobody contacted me. Day by day they are charging me interest and my installment was Rs.41418/-. I want somebody to look into the matter and sort out my problem.
