I took a car loan from State Bank Of India Bandra W Premesh Bldg, Turner Road, Bandra W, Mumbai - 400050 last month via Excel Autovista Car dealer.


I have submitted the ECS form duly filled and attested for deducting money from my IDBI bank account (Salary account) on 30th of every month.

I have sufficient funds in my account for the deduction of your 2 EMI's (14660 * 2) but today I received a call from your local office numbered +912226444206 (someone from accounts dept) & +912226444211 (Mr. Madhurkar) for updating me about the insufficient funds in my account.

To my surprise, they don't have manners to talk to customers, without having adequate knowledge about my account, they simply want me to contact my Branch, WHY? If so then why did they call me?

1. My question here is how can SBI deposit the cheque which was given to you as security deposit when there is a lack of discipline/professionalism within your Branch?
2. Why was ECS not executed last month and how can you submit a cheque in advance for 2nd month?
3. My ECS is with my salary account, this is because there should not be any insufficient funds towards my EMI's and 6 security Deposit cheques were given of other bank.
4. Being a state run bank, such worst kind of services are expected, if you can not deduct money every month from the stated bank account, is it customers fault????
5. Who will pay for the debit charges on cheque bounced? and what about my creditability with SBI bank as we've started a relationship for next 5 years?
6. Is this the kind of service a customer can expect from such reputed bank?
7. I can not go to your branch every month to enquire about my EMI's not being deducted on time, as I've already given standing instructions to your bank to debit Equated monthly Installments on 30th of every month.
8. I don't want any late payment charges/interest charges/additional charges on my loan account for your mistake.
9. Every time I call up the SBI Bandra branch (Turner Road) the SPOC Mr. Aditya Naik is never available and nobody else is even bothered to hear my issue.
10. This will affect my creditability in my CBIL report as well.



This mail was sent to 4th Oct'11


I got an SMS on 3rd Oct'11 19:24:21, from BX-CBSSBI with content "Your Loan Ac XXXXX568143 irregular by Rs 43,165. Please contact Branch Manager. Ignore if paid".

What is this all about? I'm being debited regularly on 30th of each month towards my EMI's then how come my account is irregular?

If you can not provide services to your valuable customers like us, then it's very disappointing.


Today (21st Oct'11) when I called the branch, a lady (Quite professional) accepted their mistake but who will pay the charges for the mistake at banks end.
Above this I got to know that my loan rate has increased, how will I come to know about the rise in interest without any communication from banks end?

Also I got a call from SBI's loan department, the extreme mannerless agent i've ever heard off, dont know about my case, with blunt tone as if i'm a murderer.

SBI has caused me mental harrasment and agony to extreme extent.

Even the high level management is inefficient to reply to my e-mails till date (dgm.customer@sbi.co.in ; sbi.05343@sbi.co.in ; helpline.lhomum@sbi.co.in ; chairmansbi.customer@sbi.co.in) which has been falsely mentioned in their website under (POLICY ON CUSTOMER GRIEVANCES REDRESSAL)

Request consumer court management to kindly look into my case.
