    Angry Cheque Bounce Charge and Incorrect Auto Debit.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    This complaint is in regards to the HDFC Bank Two Wheeler Loan A/c No. 16100224 which I took in March 2010 for 30 months.

    My payments were regular and last month i.e. February 2011 I had deposited the loan amount in my SBI Bank from which the EMI is auto debited on the 5th every month.

    I got a call from call centre of HDFC Loan from Swati Paul - Call centre mobile Number: 9029581441. asking me to pay the amount of 1897 via cheque or cash as the EMI amount is bounced on 5th.

    I informed her that the amount is there so there shouldn't be any problem re-withdrawing from my account. She insisted to pay in cash or cheque as they can re-request my SBI bank for another autodebit.

    I kindly issued a cheque of Rs. 1897/- on the 11th February.

    Now here is the real picture. On 15th February 2011 they debited from my SBI account 1897/- and on top of that they have debited 1897/- the cheque given to them on 17th FEbruary 2011.

    I had the information that I have sufficient fund to pay to my other parties and i issued a cheque of 3000/-.

    Unfortunately the 3000/- cheque was bounced due in insufficient fund as the HDFC bank loan dept debited my amount twice.

    Smartly HDFC bank credited via NEFT 2011022404990218 Rs. 1413on 24.02.2011 to my SBI account.

    I have been charged Rs.100/- from SBI also Rs.300 from the other bank for cheque bounce on 21.02.2011.

    I request HDFC to first of all return the amount Rs. 484 (Rs.1897-Rs.1413) Also the amount of the charges of cheque bounce from other bank Rs.400 (Rs.100+Rs.300)

    Other wise I will discontinue to pay the rest of the EMI and file a suit in the High Court for the Loss incurred including the harrasment from the HDFC bank.

    If my issue is not resolved within 2 day then I will continue to complain it the relevant authorities for strict actions to be taken against the unlaw full banks like HDFC.

    Till now I thought only ICICI is the worst bank and now I should also include HDFC as the worst bank in the world.
