We had taken a loan for purchase of a Maruti Wagon R in December 2003, on recommendation from the Maruti Dealer.

Loan No. is MMO000001677. The loan was completed and paid in full and then suddenly calls began to come claiming a cheque bounced. They themselves were not clear which cheque, nor were they providing any details and we had never received any intimation on the same. Finally after one year of continuous harassment and arguments with them they said it was in September 2009. After we cross checked and got information from the bank, it was traced and the reason was due to alteration in the cheque. They are now claiming bounce charges for two years and refusing NOC.

The bank account has always been sufficiently funded and this cheque bounced due to alteration. and time has been wasted by them in reverting as each time a different representative calls.
