Complaint against Auto Loan Department of Citibank


I Puran Mal Sharma, had taken a car loan from your bank (Citibank Loan Account number - CEJ-069-1466288) in which they have unnecessary charged me for ECS bouncing which actually did not happened.
Also, in one more case they have issued ECS twice a month which is non ethical being a reputed bank. The details and concerns are follows:

1. On 5 April the ECS was presented and cleared on 12 April 2008. Now my point is when the money was already present prior to this date then why the ECS was presented on 5 April. I had Rs 6418/- present in my account at the end of March'08, so ECS should not bounce. But Citibank have charged me for ECS bounce.

2. Also, Citibank have presented the ECS twice a month 01 Jan'08 and 31 Jan'08 which is not ethical, when bank can charge me for being one day late in payment through ECS bank should also be penalized for this.
