i went to Pratham Motors , St. Marks Road to buy a new car and i
went through their loan which is processed by the agent thier for
HDFC bank. i paid 15% as the initial payment for the vehicle and
rest went of for loan and the loan was approved. i got an offer of
16K which Alto car had at that time. but when it came to delivery of
the vehicle i was not delivered the vehicle whic i ordered for and
Alto caem with a new model which didn't had the offer of the 16K
which i was offered and Pratham didn't had the color i asked for in
the old model. as i had paid them the money i was held up with them.
then as i didn't had money with me i told Pratham motor i can go for
this if 16K which they offered can be added to the loan amount and
after speaking to bank they assured to close the old loan and issue
a new loan with this 16K added to that and i was not supposed to
bear any extra charges for that. But when i got my vehicle i had 2
loans active on my name and i had given my salary account direct
payment deduction option so they started deducting both the loans..
after that becoz of some official work i had to come to US and till
that time i was behind the bank and Pratham motors to get it close
but in vain. then i started keeping my account empty so that they
cannot deduct any amount from it til my issue is sorted out. at last
2 weeks back i got an intimation that one of my loan is closed but
theyy are yet to pay me the money back. now bank has charged me with
good money for the cheques that bounced and i was not able to use my
account for anything else like credit card payment and all... so
indirectly i had to pay much money here and there for late payments
and all... even the car had an option for 50% insuranse off when my
car was registered but i was not given that also.. my family is
alone in b'lore and some one from bank threatened of taking off the
car and disturbing them in my absence.pls let me know how can i deal
with such situation.
