Dear Sir/Madam

This is with regards to my Car Loan which I had borrowed from ICICI Bank. I have not repayed my Car Loan for 5 months and hence the Car was been recovered by ICICI Bank. Following the above I have received a letter from ICICI Bank on 29th September 2009 that my car is been abondened by ICICI Bank in Nasik and the full final Settlement of the same has to be done with in 7 working days which amounted to Rs. 82,935/- (Rupees Eighty Two Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty Five Only) otherwise they will sell the car in auction.

When contacted ICICI Bank Official at JB Nagar Branch in Andheri East (The Loan Recovery Department) on 20th November 2009 I found out that my car is been Sold on 19th November 2009 ie. one day prior to my contacting the Bank. I wished to repay the whole Loan and take my car back at this point of time.

Mr. Prahlad Manjrekar and Mr. Ganesh Bhagat from ICICI Loan Recovery Department who sit at JB Nagar Branch in Andheri East have been very rude and also harassed me at their office they didnot pay any attention to my requests nor did they be successful in providing me the details as how did they carry the whole procedure in selling my car off?I just fail to Understand as how can the Bank sell my car without my interaction or NOC, to another person. When I checked with my Local RTO the Registration of my Car still appears to be in my name. I have all the records which say that I have received only one letter from Bank till now regarding the Car Repayment.

Please I need some help with my car pocession as I have repayed the Loan on time for last 4 years. My Loan was getting over in 2010.

Both the officials do not even listen to your request. When asked why is it so they donot have any reply. I fail to get a proper response for my Car till now from Both the above Officials. At one point of time they say they will issue me a letter which will state that they will Sell my Car, how can they sell my Car if they have sold it once. Once they even offered me some other car in return saying that, We Can Help You to Get Some Other Car in the same Budget you have. If they can offer me another Car they can offer the same to any other person as well.

It has been a real strain to me and I am disturbed mentally as it is all my Hard Earned money that I have put into the Car Repayment till now. I am a Home Maker and my Husband is a retired person. We are fully dependent on this vehicle as it is a Tourist Permit Vehicle.

I request you to give me a proper Guidance so as to Claim my Right and Live my Life.

This is to inorm you that i have taken car loan from ICICI Bank in the year 2004 and have been paying the EMI's. I agree to the fact that there were instances of cheque bouncing which were paid off in cash. Would like to bring to your view that my car loan is getting over and there is only 1 emi that is pending with the late & bouncing charges amounting to some 35,000. Every day we have been receiving the call for paying, however pls note that we have every time politely told these that it will be paid off entirely,but these guys said they have instruction from Mr. Sanjay Sawant - Collection Manager who is located Andheri J B nagar to give us a call every day and harras my family. In my family when everybody is off for their routine and inspite of assuring the payoff, sanjay sawant nowdays calls us directly and giving warnings of doing some odd thing and also threatening my mother and father who are quite old of taking the car and selling. We have already spoken to him but this fellow is not listening at all and always uses abusive language and bad words to my parents on the landline by everytime he is calling from some new number (landline or mobile) which we cannnot track since our home telehone does not have caller id facility and uses rough language. When in office and calliing from office no is he again and again threatening of
taking the car back and on asking to give his senior's name he is telling that only he can close my loan file and is the only boss around his office and denying the talks with seniors.

On dt 1st June,10 my car loan repayment has been completed as per your statement letter for my loan amount of Rs.2,00,000=00 only for which the EMI of Rs.4.076=00 was started from 01st Sept.,2005. The bsame has been fully paid and the EMI completed on 1st June,10. I would, therefore, request you to issue the NOC in favour of my above car. I again submit that I have changed my residence as recorded in your document and my current address is 177,Kalitala Main Road,SRISTI APARTMENT,Gr,Floor,Flat # AG, Kolkata-700078 (Near Lalgate). Kindly advice how to get my NOC at an early date.

I had a car loan from ICICI bank, my account number was LAMUM00002633364,

Let me explain the story from Nov 2004,
1. The loan amount was 441,000 started on Nov 2004
2. I paid religiously till Jan 2006, then i lost my job & so i had send a letter to ICICI BANK dated 16th Jan 2006, asking them to dispose the CAR & recover the balance amount which was 335,342 Rs as on 16th Jan. Despite several calls to call center for immediate action, i received very cold response.
3. I personally took the car & handed over to your recovery department in Andheri, on 4th Feb 2006, I interacted with Mr. Irfan Ansari, he told me that current rate i can get around 350,000 to 375,000 after sale. So i told him to immediately dispose off.
4. I get a letter from ICICI bank on 8th March, saying that my outstanding value is 365,949 Rs & the car has been sold at 348,000 Rs so i should pay balance 17,949 Rs. Where as if you see the loan amortization schedule on Dec 2005 my outstanding was 342,064 Rs. I am attaching the copy of the same. As per this actually ICICI should have paid me 5,936 Rs after adjusting the amount.
5. I had send a letter on Sept 1st mentioning the above status & asking for a closure certificate, but i didnt get any response, so i thought now the case is settled, i also didnt bother to get my due amount.
6. After 4 years i get a court summons to attend the hearing, which i didnt receive as my door was locked.
7. Then i get a court notice with non bailable warrant to attend the hearing,

Is this the way ICIC a genuine consumer, who had all the intentions to pay off your dues.

I want immediate action on this issue, as i have never ever defaulted in any of my dealings.

I took my car 2004 maruthi zen in 2007 and total loan amount on the car was 2,50,000.
I started payinig emi's regularly for a period of 1 year,i.e till 2008.
I met with an accident and was bedridden for 2 years.So i couldnt pay the loan.
I wanted to make settlement from a long time.But icici people didnt bothered.
Now everyday i get calls from icici saying my dues are 3,00,000,which i am not in a position to pay.
I want some advice on this.

I had taken a car loan from ICICI for my new swift car. Before taking loan the loan they promised that the documentation is very easy and I will get the loan within 3 days. However it has taken a week to get the loan approved and so much documents required(Even they called up my parents in native and informed about the loan and also verified about the properties we have at native and they really got scared). After taking the loan also they didn't inform me about the emi date and didn't send me the welcome letter and no confirmation thru phone too!!!. And next month 1st they tried to deduct the amount from my account and since I was tottally unknown about the emi date my account was not funded enough. They charged me rs 250/- for inadequate fund. After couple of days they called me in my office phone number(which I had given only for verification purpose) and informed my colleague that I have to pay my emi!!!!!(How can an executive pass these sensitive information to a third person). When I reached office I was questioned by my colleagues about the emi:-(. After 1 month and 1 week of my loan purchase I didn't receive my welcome letter. unknown about the loan number too. Normally if you purchase a loan from any bank they send you a welcome letter which contains your loan amount , emi date and all information and will confirm in phone also). ICICI is a number 1 fraud in this industry. Don't go to them for any reason.
One more thing: When all these things happened I contacted my executive Mr. Balachandran in bommanahalli branch. 1st day he received my call and told that he will en quire about it. Second day also same answer. From third day onwards I received wonderful answer" Incoming calls are barred in this number ".
