I took a Car Loan from AXIS Bank in June 2009 by provided 8 blank cheques to Bank and I had requested them to do ECS. On 1st july they have used my first cheque with the Amount in Words as Five Lakhs ... and in number column they have given as 7041/- which is my monthly EMI.

This cheque got bounced and I found the problem. When I requested AXIS Bank to provide the cheque after a month they said they cannot retrive the cheque as it is lost.
They said that they will provide a letter stating that it is their mistake.

Now I am really worried about my 7 cheques, how can I belive that they will not misuse them also.

The manager Dharma Veda was not responding at all. He says we will not do any mistakes and he says he will provide a letter saying they lost the Cheque.

Is there any way to secure my 7 cheques and paralley I would like to know if I can teach them the importance and value of Cheque.
