Hello ,
I have borowed a car loan from HDFC bank.I was asked to deposit a margin money
amount to Marketing times(maruti dealer,Rajouri garden) by HDFC however when I
deposited the amount they asked me to cancel the billing and asked me to buy the car
from other dealer (FAIR DEAL , Shadhra).I deposited the margin money with Fair deal
as well.
I was promised that as I have cancelled the billing I will get my margin money
amount from Marketing times within 10 days.
But Hdfc tranefrred the loan amount to marketing times in error rather than
transferring it to Fair deal.Now its almost one and a half month I have not received
my money back from Marketing times as they are saying it will go back to HDFC.
Recently I walk up to Marketing times and they agreed to pay my amount after
consulting the case from HDFC within 24 hrs still not received it .
Made a formal complaint to HDFC in regards to all this and no one contacted me since
then, I am paying my EMIS on time and infact getting threating calls from fair deal
for the interest amount as the money is not transferred to them .

Hi Mukesh,
As per the escalation procedure followed from your end since 03/08/2009 I must say
that it has actually ended up creating a mess for me.
After so many calls and follow up for a mistake that was made from your end I must
admit that I regret the day when I agreed for an auto loan from HDFC as still the
matter is unresolved.
Wasted my time and money , got threating calls from other dealer (Fair deal) I have
no other option in order to resolve this ongoing issue other than Consumer court.
Today itself I will be lodging a complaint against HDFC for harassment moreover I
should inform you that as well , I have not received any calls/ contact form HDFC'S
end against the complaint lodged by me on the other day 10/09/2009.
Complaint number - P9580081 ( not received any call till date although promised a
call back within 24 hrs)
I have so many false commitment from Alok, Ajay (TL), Pooja Malhotra ( Manager
customer services, auto loan team ) that I will not recommend your services to any
person including my HCL colleagues.
After the last conversation with you I was promised by you and Marketing times that
I will get my cheque the following day however now they informed my that they have
received a letter from you for refund of loan and margin money back to you hence
they need to send the total amount (margin money & loan amount) back to you.
I would like to add this as well Just for the sake of Rs 2000 that the commission
amount is the cause of all these hazels that I am facing . Dealers were changed like
anything ( Rajouri to shadhra) but still I did everything what you asked for however
Now I regret that cancelling the loan at that point of time would have been a better
option for me.
I have paid Rs 10,000 to Marketing times and that has been stuck because of your
mistake and I will get my money back along with compensation for loss of time and
money and also for the mental harassment this matter has caused me.
I feel ashamed to be your customer and will rectify this mistake very soon.
I would appreciate if you could pass on this feed back to your employees who pretend
to do customer service however I know very well what kind of customer service I got
from your end .
For any further clarification get back to me anytime , as I am forwarding this mail
as an attachment to consumer court .
If you wish I can even forward you my mobile billas well for the number of calls I
have made to HDFC customer service and to your employee regarding this issue.
