    Dear Sir
    I am the registered owner of Maruti Esteem Vxi DL 8 CK 7243. On 30 Aug 09 I am going to Sahranpur, U.P Via Narela(Delhi) by my car. It's heavy raining that day. On Narela Alipur road water was flowing on the road. All the vehicles were crossing the road in flowing water. I also tried. But my car engine stoped working in the middle. After that I push my car out of the water with the help of the person with me & tried to start it after half an hour. But self of the car didn't work. After that I called to D.D Motors, Peeragarhi, Delhi & they gave me the contact no. of on road services. I booked the complaint. A technician visit at the spot & advise me to take the car at service station. I call my another car & tow the esteem car with it & reached the D.D Motors, Peeragarhi near about 7 p.m. They recd my car & said me to come tomorrow. Next day I visited there & filed a claim againts Nantional Insurance. Yesterday I contacted to the surveyor Mr. Avnish. He is not agree to give me the actual damaged to my car. What will I do?

    Hi
    He is saying that you have tried to start the car. So I can't give you the actual claim. I can give you the car head parts & labour, piston, etc. while in my car engine block has been damaged & couldn't be use further. Service advisor of D.D Motors prefers to change the half assembely(crank, piston etc. are fitted in the engine block by Maruti India Limited) of car. I have said to Avnish that the self of my car is not working. Also according to the service advisor of D.D Motors self of car wouldn't work if water mix with engine oil. Engine will be jam in that condition.

    Dear Sir,

    If your are not satisfied with the response of present surveyour, you can ask your Insurance Co. to provide you another surveyour regarding your claim or matter. Just send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co.

    I have tried to contact the insurance co. many times by email. But they are not succeed in tracing the concerned office my matter. I am sending you the email details send by me

    I have filed the claim on 31 Aug. But I have not get any reply from your side.

    Dear Sir,

    We are providing you the address of Insurance Co. Head Office to forward your complaint. Wait for the response for near 15 to 20 days. Keep a copy of that letter with you so that if the Co. fails to give you any solution, you can forward your complaint to the RBIs Insurance Ombudsman Division. The address is:

    I will forward a letter to this adrress. One thing more I have get repaired my car. Is there any problem If I take my car on cash payment. Delivery of car will be today. I have gone to D.D Motors now. But the Re inspection of my car is still pending. They will give me the delivery at 5 P.M. Please tell me before this time. Also will I get the claim amount after paying cash to D.D.Motors or not?

    Dear Sir,

    Pls. send your complaint through registered post.

    For the query regarding taking the delivery of your car, we would like to suggest you to inform you agent and the Head Office of the Co. too, about your decision to take delivery of the vehicle by paying cash. This step should be taken after getting something positive in writing from the Insurance Co. In your letter to the Co. you should explain to them full justification of your forced circumstances of taking the delivery by yourself e.g. vehicle being ready and unnecessary parking charges being charged by the workshop, your personal requirement for the vehicle etc.

    Post repair cost above 75% idv but surveyor still insisted to repair the vehicle

    my indica car has idv of 412000 and only 7 months old that met with an accident. the repairing cost produced to the oriental insurance surveyor was above 400000, but he ordered the service centre to dismantle the car to repair . after dismanteling it was noticed that engine parts were damaged too which increased the cost to 550000 but the surveyor ordered the service centre to repair the car as according to him the parts assumed damaged were not so and the cost will be much more lower.now the car is ready and the service centre's bill for repair is about 400000 (4 lakhs). now who will pay the bill above 75% of idv (i.e) 308000 as the surveyor is passing only 300000 aginst the bill.

    Dear Mr. Garg,

    If the Insurance Co. is not responding to your complaints, pls. send a written complaint to the Insurance Ombudsman with copy of complaint letter which you have forwarded to the Head Office of the Insurance Co. The IO address is:
