    Default Complaint against TATA AIG on Motor Vehicle Ins.

    I owned a Car which was earlier leased through my company. The insurnace document was addressed as Dinesh Lakshmanan (user) and Company Name. On leaving from the company I had renewed the insurance in same name, the cheque payment was done by me. Later I transferred the car into my name. Currently the Vehicle is name of Dinesh Lakshmanan and Insurance in name of (User) Dinesh Lakshmanan, Company Name. Currently I had a crash and my bumper need to be changed. As per TATA AIG since the insurance is not in my name I am not elegible for claim. I am wondering that for the whole year I am runnning a vehicle which dont have insurance !. I also got a transfer document the company to transfer the insurance which is pending for submission. I fee TATA AIG need to refund the insurance amount if they say that a claim cannot be raised since the insurance is not valid. Also I had been put into trouble and need to pay Rs.13,000 for repairs even when I have a insurance poicy.

    Request a help in this regard.

    I took an insurance policy from Tata AIG, ideally it expires in the month of November every year, they didn't call for renewal and the policy expired. After consistent followup break insurance survey was conducted, no apparent damage the surveyor assured that the policy will be renewed. No call recd, after regular followup for 8 days they tell me no comprehensive policy can be taken. No explanation provided, even though car is in good shape and no insurance claim in the past 5 years. Can some one help me how the insurer can reclaim the policy, especially for an unintentional event.

    Do let me know if there is a way out

    My car is maruti suzuki zen.and my claim no. Is 620449977.but surveyor reject my claim.why ? When i am paying premium then why you are not giving me clain.my contact no is 9311313241.....solve this matter immediately.....
