    I am an aggrieved customer of Reliance general insurance . They are making me run from pillar to post and not processing my claim on one pretext or another. And finally today they have informed me that my car got damaged due to my own fault.

    I hope neither of us want to resolve this issue in court but I am pushed then I am ready for legal battle and would claim litigation cost also

    it appears from the reply sent by your side to my complain that u r trying to evade your legal as well as contractual obligations. i fail to understand as to how i can elaborate my complaint any further . i have all ready sent a detailed course of events which have forced me to seek an insurance claim. however to assist u i reproduce my original complaint;

    On27/7/09 around 9:15pm near Raj Ghat I got stuck in traffic and sinceit was raining the water logging took place on many streets. Waterentered inside my car while I was driving and then the car stopped onthe road itself and i had to tow it to the service station.

    I registered the claim vide by insurance policy and the claim # 2091174005. The company appointed Mr Tejinder Singh as surveyor and gave me hiscontact number. When I called Mr Singh for the above claim , i was toldthat he is not my surveyor and further gave me contact number of one MrMehindiratta and when i called Mr Mehindiratta on friday 31/7/09 hetold me to wait but he didn't turn up for meeting.I waited for him forthree continuous days but he kept on postponing the meeting.

    Then instead of turning himself he send a boy to take photograph of the vehicle.

    After thorough checkup of the vehicle the service station has listed following items that got damaged due to water logging
    a) self alternator
    b) AC compressor
    c) wheel bearing
    d) cleaning of engine

    butsurveyor told me that self, and AC compressor is not the responsibilityof the company and cannot be claimed and these things got damaged dueto my own carelessness. His behaviour was very rude and he used foullanguage. He told me that not even president of India can claim thesething from insurance company.

    Isthis the kind of treatment that is given to the customers of yourcompany? At the time of insurance the company agents are very politeand docile but the moment one tries to get claim they turn hostile. Ihope this is not the part of company's customer policy.

    Irequest you to kindly get my vehicle repaired as per the rules . My caris still lying in the workshop and i have to run from pillar to post toget the claim.

    kindly treat this mail as legal notice and iwill sue the company, local service station, surveyor and his seniorfor mental agony and non performance of contract... The cost oflitigation would also be included in the compensation.

    Default Required Attention: Had I been cheated by Reliance Capital Company?

    Hi,

    Ref: Policy Number-15432965

    Mid Oct of 2009, I got a phone call from Delhi office(Phone No:+91.1147172560). Over the Phone someone named Pradeep(+91.1147172560) told me about an investment plan. The plan was described as anniversary offer plan and limited for few of selected customers. He told me that if I invested Rs99,990/-, the Reliance Capital would return me a confirmed amount 2,98,000 after 5th year of my investment and starting from 3rd year, I would be given Rs15000 as annuity. Based on that commitment, when I agreed to invest, I got a phone call from Inamur Rahman(+91.9958060261) for the product confirmation just to check whether I properly understood the product. He also told exactly same what Pradeep told me initially.

    Then Anirban Bhattacharya(Relationship Manager, +91.9331613132) took appointment from me to collect cheque and necessary documents. Same time he told me that as the entire operation used to done from Delhi office, he didn't have any idea about the product. He told me to sign on some places - when I signed on the Proposal Form I asked him why proposal form is not describing about the actual product. Mr. Anirban told me that as this offer was special anniversary offer, it had no separate proposal form - but I should not be worried as a customer of Reliance Capital.

    I have got the policy document. Policy No is 1543965. The policy document is saying something which is completely different from the benefits of the product what Pradeep and Inamur told me initially. For last more than one month, whenever I am connecting Inamur's number, Pradeep is saying that some 'Offer Statement' has already been dispatched to me and due to some internal problem the courier company associated with Reliance Capital it is taking some time to come to my hand. Again they are saying that not to contact customer care and local offices of the Reliance Capital as those will not be able to assist me as the product is an anniversary offer for limited customer.

    On 4th January 2010, I got a phone call from the process department of their Delhi office(01147130600) and someone told me that Reliance had some issue with their agents so they would send me the Offer Statement after 6 months/1 years.

    Now I want to know had I been cheated by Reliance Capital Company or should I keep my patience that someday in reality I'll get the offer statement in my hand.

    Have you any proof that support your statement? apart from this give a written complaint to the area nodal officer, mention all the details in it and ask them to cancel your policy as early as possible and return your money.

    You may also contact to IRDA, if they people are not suppose to help you.

    i make an car insurance of my ford fiesta from reliance general insurance
    they said that it is cashless and also its written on the cover note

    last week my car get hit and i sent to the workshop of bhagat ford at ludhiana

    now they demanding me the claim ,i have to pay either in cash or by cheque
    cos reliance general insurance company is not willing to make it cash less now

    i send him many mails,, no answer from there side
    i talked to there reprensetative on phone,they said they cant do anything in this ,and not pickin up my phone now


    now bhagat ford workshop people demanding me to make a cash payment and get my car

    Default Non-receipt of claim of car policy

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I, am Dr.G.K. Agrawal is the registered owner of vehicle No. DL-4CAB-6180 Honda city car which is stolen & claim No. 2091227316 is registered against the motor policy No. 1306792311017217 issed by reliance general insurance company ltd.

    The vehical got stolen on 1st of oct 2009, and I have completed the full formalities required by the insurrance company with in one month, but yet I didn't got any claim from there side. I called customer care several times but always got the same reply that you will receive your cheque with in 7 days but till now 6 months have been passed, nor they had settled my claim nor they ever have ever tried to contact me. My claim amount is just rs 3.5lak .

    At first they have appointed the surver Mr. Shukdev . he told me that you will got ur cheque with in one month from the date of claim.

    Plz sir kindly provide me justice.

    My Name is V.Sunitha my vehicle no is AP 15 S 555 TATA INDICA met with an accident, My claim no is 2091176220 and I have got my claim after a long period of waiting but the cheque issued on my name is given to some unknow identity.

    And my complaint no:1048565

    When I ask the Branch person who issues the cheques he responses very recklessly they even not maintained any Identity of the person for whom they have delivered the cheque, neither taken the concern of the valid customer before delivering the cheque.

    The Branch manager gives information regarding this issue. As it happens in many cases you can go legally nothing responsible with the company..

    I don't know how a Manager of a Branch can speak like this.

    The person who issues the Cheque his name is RAGAV HYDERABAD KOTI (BRANCH).

    I kindly request to help me and provide me Justice.

    Default Claim Chque not received even after settlement of claim

    Hi my name is divakar and am having Gen. Insurance policy bearing no:1806782311002174 with RELIANCE GENERAL INSURANCE for my four wheeler. In September,2009 I had applied for claim of my car and the process of claim is setteld in Oct 2009 and so far I did not received the proceeds and my communication address and contact no. are remain same. But even after registration of complaint in 18th March 2010, they said the matter will be settled in 48 hrs. But inspite of my several followups to agent and company. I could not able to get the proceeds.

    this is farook usman munshi i m your existing custamer i m having 2 -4 wheelers car insurance and 1 -2 wheelers insurance of ur company my 1st insurance was done in the monthy of july 2009 and the proposer has just given me the cover note and not yet recieved the original documents of it and the 2nd and the 2 wheeler insurance was done on march 2nd the proposer just gave me the cover note of my 4 wheelers and not gave me any paper for my 2 wheelers insurance and now the proposer is not answering my calls nor replying me i m from Margao Goa and my contact no is 09422057083 plz help me out
