Thread: non settelement of cliam by Bajaj Insurance.

Dear Sir / Madam,



This has reference to our motor claim with Bajaj Insurance Co Ltd under
policy no OG-07-1901-1801-000120006 for theft of our vehicle no
MH-04-CJ-7315 & registered as claim no OC-09-1901-1801-00006845.



In this regard we would like to inform you that our vehicle was stolen on
25h Oc-2007 from Pratap Nagar Road, Near BPS English high School, Bhndup
(w), Mumbai-78. Engine no of the vehicle is 41786 & Chassis no is 53012.



The above vehicle was in the possession of Mr. Anil Kumar sambhunath singh,
who was paid driver of our company. He was working with our organization
since 01/09/2004 and his residence address as per our record was Room no 12,
thakur compound, Durga nivas Chawl, Pratapnagar road, Bhndup (w), Mumbai-72.
His driving license no is A-4236.



We had lodge a FIR with Bhndup police station and FIR number was 301/2007.
There was a delay of nine month from our office towards intimation for claim
to Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co Ltd as we had not received the NOC &
Police clearance certificate from Bhndup police station.



However finally we had lodge the claim to Bajaj General insurance co Ltd and
submitted all the relevant documents to their Prabhadevi office. But they
have rejected the claim on the grounds that there was a delay in intimating
for the claim. Again we had submitted the letter by giving all the reason of
the delay.



But that too was rejected by them and now they ask for the another set of
keys for the vehicle. Though we had already handed over one set of keys to
them, but they want the other set also which was misplaced.



According to Bajaj General Insurance there were two points for rejection of
claim.

1) Delay of nine month in intimating for the claim

2) one set of key of vehicle is missing.

3)

We are unable to understand what to do now as they are not ready to listen
anything from us, though our policy was in force at the time of theft and
also at the time of intimation of claim.



For your reference, please find attached herewith all the relevant documents
regarding this claim. Please help us in settling out this claim with Bajaj
Allianz General Insurance Co Ltd.
