My Tata agent (Rajinder Saini - 9873366333) has recently (around 2 weeks back) submitted a claim on my behalf but has told me that my policy (015075976601) is not showing in his system and hence he can't process my claim. I have called Tata AIG help desk number at least 6 times in the last two weeks to get it corrected in their system. They confirmed that it indeed is a problem in their system and they will take required action and revert back to me in a day. They never called back; even once (to even let me know that it is going to take more time or give me an estimate of time). I bought the policy around 9 months back; but is not in the system. That means that Tata charged me around Rs 10000 for nothing; no policy was issued. Looks like the claim can even be rejected. I have all legal proofs of the payment made on Tata web site. Looks like Tata AIG is completely fake insurance company-- they just charge money online and issue useless receipts with no policy issue. Tata has surpassed all standards of cheating.
