non receipt of hard copy of my car policy from M/S TATA AIG Dear Sir,
This is regarding non receipt of hard copy of my car policy from M/S TATA AIG.
On 23rd/Dec/2010 I had conversation with one TATA AIG representative of Mumbai office. He told me that once you will made payment, you will get soft copy of your car policy within 48 hours & hard copy of the same within 07 days.
I made necessary payment of Rs 4206 which credited to TATA AIG on 25th/Dec but I got soft copy on 27th/Dec/2010 after so many follow-ups with TATA AIG team.
I should get hard copy of this policy on 01st/Jan/2011 (07 days from the date of payment credited) but still I have not received the same. It's almost 21 days delayed & still not sure that when I will get hard copy of the same. I am suffering a lot due to non receipt of car insurance policy hard copy. It's mental, physical & financial harassment because everyday traffic police caught me & ask hard copy of the same. My previous insurance also expired on 31st/Dec/2010 night so now it’s very important to have hard copy of my new insurance policy.

TATA AIG Motor Car Policy hard copy not received Inspite of phone calls to the Customer Care and writing mails, I have not received a hard copy of the Comprehensive Insurance Policy (i.e. Auto Secure Package Policy even after more than 5 1/2 months. I need it urgently and have been requesting their Customer Care department to send the same repeatedly to no avail. Escalating the problem created by this Company to their Customer Care simply fails to evoke any response. There seems to be a dead end.
Can someone inform whether there is any regulatory authority (such as IRDA) to ensure that such Companies are pulled up for deficient, poor or non-existent services in which the hapless customer is made to meaninglessly suffer. I have been made to suffer harassment and agony due to non-receipt of the Motor Insurance Policy for such a long time. What are the redressal options left to the harassed customer?
How do I make the Company respond to genuine customer problems created by it? How could timely redressal be made by such a Company?
I need my original Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy. Can anyone please help!
