Hello,

My vehicle met with a minor accident a month ago. Now when I claim for insurance, the Future Generali mentions that the claim should be made within 3 days of the accident. WHen I check my Insurance Policy terms & conditions, it is not all mentioned in the paperwork provided to me. When sought clarification for the same, the arrogant officers mention that ' IT IS THE DUTY OF CUSTOMER TO ASK AND OBTAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS AND NOT THE DUTY OF INSURANCE COMPANY TO PROVIDE IT VOLUNTARILY'. When I talk to claims department, they tell this it is not their responsibility to deliver Terms & Conditions to customer. When spoken with customer care, they ask me to talk to claims department for this. I don't know how to break out of this vicious loop. Is this why we have to obtain a car insurance ?
