Hi,

I am using a car of make Honda City and Registration number DL4C AH 8472. This is insured with IFFCO-TOKIO.

This had a minor accident on Feb 16, 2010 which happened due to a sudden right turn by the vehicle ahead and I got hit on left and back by bikers. and this resulted scratches on my left door and back bumper.

I initmated the Iffco_tokio custmer care centre on Feb 18, 2010 and got the mesg back alos with Claim ID and Surveyor Number. I expected a cal bk from surveyor which didnt happen at all. Then I called him on Feb 20, 2010 to check when to give the car for repair & survey. He told me that He will do the survey on Feb 22. I gave the car in the Ring Road showroom on Feb 21st itself. I submitted my car's RC, my License, Covernote and filled form.

I got a call on Feb 22nd and had a word with surveyor asking for three things.

1. Accident date ( as i had not filled in the form)
2. Car's Policy ( I had given the covernot bcos I never recvd the policy papers)
3. Car's new policy ( as the old Poicy was expiring on Feb 18).

I gave the accident date to Ring Road Honda. I contacted Iffco and after various roundes with Iffco's different offcies, finally with teh quick respomnse from Puneet Mahajan, I got a copy of Car's Polciy on Feb 24 which I immediately sent to Ring Road Hinda.

Still with these updates and all the docs from my side, the job couldnot be cleared By Surveyor (Mukesh Mehndiratta). I had a word with Mukesh. Mukesh asked me if I have cleared his requirements. I told him positively that the I have cleared all the ponits except the third one as I dont have the new one.

With utmost surprise and shock to me, Mukesh replies back with a new answer that the Job cannot be done as this is a wear-tear loss and touching is done. This shock came to me when my car is with Honda since last 6 days. And on top of it, the scratches/dents are new, no toching is dont there.

I contacted IFFCO-TOKIO on support@itgi.co.in, on the site and to honda Care also but of no use. I am totally harrased by the IFFCO-TOKIO surveyor as first he askes for the relevant documents and when I provide the documenst, he mentions the damage as wear tear that too after 6 days. I had spent lots of money in making numerous calls to Iffco ToKio, even while on roaming also but of no use.

I am helpless and suffering without car and any result since last ten days. Request your support on this, if possible.
