Gokul Sharad Dusane have taken comprehensive insurance policy under Policy No. 42910637 in respect of my vehicle MAHINDRA LOGAN 1.5 DLX bearing registration number MH-41 C-5756 (Engine No. MA1LSRFJH92B11490, Chassis No. D040095) for the period of 15-06-2009 to 15-06-2010 from company (IFFCO TOKIO GENERAL INSURANCE CO. LTD.)
Insurance company rejected my claim for the reason "AS PER RC BOOK SEATING CAPACITY OF VEHICLE IS 4+1=5 BUT AT THE TIME OF ACCIDENT5+1=6 PASSENGER HAD SEATED IN VEHICLE , AS PER F.I.R. IT IS VOILATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE ACT. "
Then am send complaint letter to legal department of IFFCO-TOKIO co. Then he called me and told we can setteled ur claim that we deduct 30% amount from IDV. Why they deduct 30% amount?
Kindly suggest me it is right to deduct 30% amount or not. If one extra person was seated in car then how much amount can insurance co deduct or not? Accident reason in FIR was " Logan car driver driving car fastly"
