Hi,

My car Silencer broker while driving and I have put up the claim with Tata AIG. Now the Surveyor comes up with saying that it is because of the internal rust and will not be covered which is false and baseless. The fact is that the Silencer broke when the car hit a stone. If there was a rust then the entire Silencer pipe should have affected and damaged. Think of an hypothetical situation wherein anyone having a car for more than three years is quite obvious the car parts which are exposed to air bound to get oxidation and when it gets into some accident all those parts broken will not be covered in Insurance. I find it very senseless and baseless.


I think its a very bad experiance with Tata AIG. Anyone any pointers what next to be done or anyways I can reach someone like higher authorties to raise my voice. Please Suggest.
