This is bring to kind notice that I have insured my Maruti Swift Car(DL2CAG 5852) with Maruti Insurance (Policy No - 60195005) for last two consecutive years and prior to that it was insured with ICICI Lombard company.I have never taken any claim since I purchased my car.

On 29/09/2009 I faced an accident at NH-24. I was entering the NH-24 highway when a motorcycle coming from wrong side hit me from the front left side and I applied brakes and a Hyundai Accent car hit me from rear right end. When I move forward my car's rear bumper was stuck with the Hyundai car and broke when I moved forward.

Earlier my car bumper was slightly loose from right side where the locks are situated, so the local mechanic added a screw to make it tighter. I had give my car for servicing to ROHAN MOTORS, MATHURA ROAD several times and they have record that my bumper was not broken earlier. Because at the time of servicing, As a practise they note every broken part.

I reached ROHAN MOTORS, MATHURA ROAD and applied for Insurance claim and they told me the estimate will be around Rs. 14000-15000 including everything. After thhe surveyor inspected the vehicle, he discarded the bumper claim as old damage because there was a screw mark on the bumper but said that he has approved other damages. There was another small mark on the rear door which the surveyor showed me as old damage. He told me that I will have to bear some percentage of that old damage, to which I also agreed.

After the discussions, suryeyor said that only the damages which are on front side panel and rear right side will be approved and he will send his report the same day. He told me also that I can discuss the matter(rear Bumper) with Insurance Ofiicer at National Insurance Office,New Friends Colony before giving it for repair. So I took my car away and said I will discuss it National Insurance.

After I moved away from ROHAN MOTORs, MATHURA ROAD, they made a increased estimate of approx Rs.29000(which I saw at National Insurance Office, New Friends Colony) which they never discussed with me. Later when I asked ROHAN MOTORS to fix the approved damages then they told me that my claim has been discarded entirely.

Now It is very depressing and disgusting that I had not taken a single claim till date and when I need it, it is not given. Insurance company is saying that It will be counted as claim and I will not be entitled for any "No Claim Bonus". I am not able to understand it that for what purpose people do insurance if they are treated like this.

they write in their slogan "THE ONLY NO-TENSION OPTION" and I am feeling cheated and facing immense tension.
