    Default Complaint about Oriental Insurance Company

    Dear Sir

    My wife Mrs. Santosh Bansal is the registered owner of DL 4C AA 9190 Maruti Omni. I was coming from Govardhan, Mathura (U.P.) on 17 May 2009 by my omni van. My car strikes to a road crossing cow near Chatta (U.P). We are four friends in the car at the time of accident. Car got damaged from front side. I have got some injury. We take the first aid from a private clinic Chatta(U.P). After that we called my friend from Govardhan & he arrange for a towing van. He dropped us to my residence. Towing van tow my car to D.D Motors Peeragarhi. Next day my friend went to the D.D Motors perragarhi & ask for the estimated cost of job wanted in my car. After that I have file the claim towards Oriental Insurance Company through my knowing person Mr. Ashok Sandhu because I have made the policy from this person. After few days I contacted to the Mr. Ashok & ask about the status of my claim. He answered me that I have filed the claim & I will give you the actual report in few days. After few days that I again contacvt him he told me that the Insurance co. has appointed me as a surveyor of your car. I will report to company in next week. After passing near about ten days I again contact him, he told me that insurance company will give you the payment according to total loss of car. In that condition you will get the cheque of near about Rs. 1,00,000 and you will be the owner of the damaged car if you want other wise you will get the rest of amount Rs 80,000 in the mode of cash from isurance company in the after selling of damaged car by another person. I have agreed on the second condition. After passing few many days I have contacted to him & ask for the cheque. He said to me that our officer is on leave. He will signed the cheque. He passes the three month in the same situation. After that we have repaired the car on my risk. Before One week I have contacted to him he said to me that company has appoint an investigation officer on my report. I have not get any claim from insurance company after passing the four month. Please help me in this matter.

    Dear Sir,

    To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.

    Sub. : Continuation of Medi-claim Policy No.121800/48/2009/107

    Sir,
    I had taken the above mentioned policy from Dev.Officer NA0000006883 Mrs.C.L.Shah and Agent BA0000087790 MR. G.N.Bandi, who was well aware that the policy is taken for the assessment year starting from April to March every year. I therefore renewed this policy every year by First three days of April by giving blank cheques to the Agent. Similarly I received a letter from my Agent, which is attached herewith for your perusal. The letter dated 7.3.2009 clearly mentions about the blank cheque and the date of expiry of the policy. Accordingly I forwarded a blank cheque to the Agent. Surprisingly, I received a payment receipt on 30th March 2009, immediately I contacted my Agent and brought to his notice that as this policy is meant for the next financial assessment year, the cheque should be deposited in the first three days of April month, I also told him that as this being end of the assessment year the funds in my deposit are not sufficient and in that case the cheque may bounce creating a misinformation and requested him to make the payments in cash and stop the cheque but the Agent assured me that, even though the receipt is given on the 28th March the processing of cheque may take time and your cheque will go to the bank in April only. On 2nd April I had sufficient funds in my account. Also the company has not bothered to intimate me about the dishonor of the cheque even till today. My agent informed me about this after a period of one and half month, thereafter I tried to bring this matter to the notice of the company, however Mr. Sing from the above mentioned address refused to accept my complaint letter on the pretext of company’s policy, that if accepted we will be bound to reply your letter. I do not understand the company’s policy for not paying attention to the grievances of the policy holders. Even the agent is not accessible for reply. I tried to facsimile the same on the numbers 26451638,22816129 and 22046196 given on the policy, however all numbers were incorrect and hence could not forward my complaint.
    You are now requested to study the situation in which my cheque was dishonored and for this entire episode the sole responsibility lies with the Agent appointed by your company. Hence I should not be punished for the mistake of your own Agent and allow me to make the payment and renew the policy. Please treat this matter as urgent as during this period I am without any medical cover even though I had taken proper care and reply me within a period of eight days time starting from receipt of this letter.

    Default Oriental Insurance Bike Claim

    My husband late Shri Ravinder kumar Tomar was the registered owner of DL 5S Z3004 Bajaj Pulsar(180). He and his cousin satish was coming from Residance in Vijay Nagar Gaziabad to Office In Gaziabad (U.P.) on 31 March 2008 by his motor bike.Satish was driven the bike and Mr ravinder was sitting behind him . When they was in Bulandshar Industrial Aria in Gaziabad Satish stopped the bike and going to urinal but Ravinder was sitting in the bike meantime a truck came and accidented the bike from the front. Bike got damaged . Mr Ravinder has badly injurred. Mr Satish took him in the Hospital but unfortunately MR Ravinder was dead. After that we have file the claim towards Oriental Insurance Company through Mr. Chanchal In Rajiv Raj Bajaj in Durga Puri Delhi because I have Purchased the bike from Rajiv raj bajaj. After few days I contacted to the Mr. chanchal & ask about the status of my claim. He answered me that I have filed the claim & I will give you the actual report in few days. After few days that I again contact him he told me that the Insurance co. has appointed Mr naresh Thareja as a surveyor of our bike. I will report to company in next week. After passing near about ten days I again contact him, he told me that insurance company will give you the payment according to total loss of Bike. After passing few many days I have contacted to him & ask for the cheque. He said to me that you was going to the office and contact in the office . Then we went to the office and talked with Mr Ramesh he told after 15 days you will be take the cheque .Passes the one month in the same situation. After that we have repaired the Bike on my risk. . After passing the Two year we have not got any claim from insurance company . Please help me in this matter.

    Oriental Insurance Company denied my Mediclaim in cash less treatment taken by me Last year as well as for my wife recently on 15th MAy 2010.My Policy included me, my wife .

    My Policy no are, for year 2009- 2010 is 272403/48/2009/1276
    and for this year 2010 - 2011 is 272403/48/2010/1485. and my policy are continuing from almost 10 years.
    The T.P.A. of oriental Insurance Company is Vipul Med Corp Pvt Ltd, gurgoan.
    In my Opinion its waste doing your Health Insurance from oriental Insurance Company is Vipul Med Corp Pvt Ltd, gurgoan, we are simply wasting our hard earned money.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    With due Respect to you , I am Going to tell you My Problem . My Name is Deepak Malhotra S/o Shri Dwarka Dass Malhotra ,Add- 166, Maliwara Sunarow Wali Gali Ghaziabad. I have Made an Insurance of 150 cc Bajaj Pulsar Bike From Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. Address- Divisional Office -I B-195, Lohiya Nagar Ghaziabad on 12.07.2010 ( Monday) My last Data of insurance is the Same. But i have done the insurance on the same date Before the Expire.
    But Since from that Time to Till Moment I havn't received any documents from any side. Company Exceutive Told my that your Insurance has been Done through Document No- 252100/31/2011/1891 Dt- 12.07.2010. This is very Poor service & Wrong commeitment that i have received from the Company. Also i had gone to Mr. Rajeev Jaishwal ( Manegar ) i told him My Problem But he didn't take any Action & Reply to me that i am not responsible for this. & i can't do any thing for you.

    Now the Main issue is My insurance has got expired & i am not getting any document from the Company. if Bike is arrested from the Police & Othe Govt. Officers, who will Responsilbe for this & who will pay the Challen Money.

    Plz take the necessary Action & Reply for the same>>>>>ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am waiting for your reply. Otherwise i will take some other action for Poor service & wrong commietment of the Oriental Insurance Company.I will Never Make insurance From the same company in future.

    Insurance Claim of Stolen Bike Oriental insurance Company Ltd. Asaf Ali Road Delhi
    Dear Team,

    This is kindly inform that i have purchased a new bike Bajaj pulser in Nov'09 and bike was insured under oriental Insurance Company limited under the policy number 271700/31/2010/7471 and bike number was UP-16Y-4401 My motor cycle was stolen on 25th December 2009.For the same i have already submitted all the requested documents including same days police intimation report, FIR report, FIR final report and all other required papers.
    While talking to them for my claim initially they told that as per the policy you have not given the written intimation letter to our main office with in 48 hours of bike stolen so your claim will not be processed.
    Later they said that as you have not informed us with in 48 hours so only 75% of the insured amount can be processed.
    when i was not agreed on 75% on the amount ( total amount insured is 57983/- Rs) they have stopped responding.

    I have send them final legal notice of 20 days to there head office (A-25/27 Oriental house, Asaf Ali road New Delhi 110002) through registered post from Noida on 21st July to settle down my claim but till now 1 month passed already and there is no response from oriental insurance so i have decided to file the complaint against Oriental Insurance Company as its already 8 month passed and i m waiting for my claim.

    Please help me in this as soon as possible.

    Default unexplained and unfair deduction in claim

    Dear Sir/Mam,

    my car (DL 8CT 6264 in the name of Maya Enterprises , policy number – 271400/31/2011/2821 , claim number – 31/2011/036469) was insured from the above mentioned company which was purchased on 30/11/2010 – hyundai I10 CNG(fully insured) .Cng Kit was purchased on the same date from the hyundai dealer only under a proper invoice, insurance & all the other relevant documents.

    It is known fact that the transport authority takes a few months to issue the RC of the car and only after the issue of RC in can get the CNG enrolled on it .


    In january 2011(first week) my car met with an accident , . Till that time the petrol RC was not issued to me. The car was surveyed and repaired(i had to pay the whole amount). The surveyer agreed for clearing damages of around 11000 Rs .

    Till march no claim amount was given to me . When i called the staff repeatedly the staff sent me a cheque(directly – without informing) in which 25% of the claim amount was deducted adhoc without any reason . When i asked them they said that CNG fitment was illegal and according to indian laws we are to cut 25%.

    Noe when i ask them that under which law they have deducted my payment they are unable to explain and all i think is that they want bribe. Further i have sent them the CNG Invoice they are neither replying to me niether giving my 25 % balance amount.

    Sir i would like you to interrupt in the matter and provide justice to me .

    Default complaint about motorcycle claim

    dear sir/mam,
    i want to complaint against the bad claiming policies of oriental insurance.I had my bike insured from the above mentioned. unfortunately my bike got an accident.So i went to their office to claim money but their officials told me pay the whole amount in advance.They assured me that u would get the half amount within one month which is their claim(50%).But now its almost about an year past and i haven't got my claim yet.is there any possibility of getting claim.inform me as soon as possible.

    I take policy from shivnath complex g.e. road bhilai Supela but taking policy after nine month i did not find cashlesscard .
