    Default IFFCO-TOKIO - Partial reimbursement of insurance claim

    Dear Sir,

    On 16th July, Morning, unfortunately, I met with an accident in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad and my car got damaged at front side as well front windscreen also got damage.

    In the afternoon, I took my damaged car to the nearest Maruti service center – “Fast Track Auto Care (India) Pvt Ltd, Noida. I explained all details related to accident to the executive and service engineer at the center. On 17th July, Iffco-Tokio intimated me the reference no (1-4AS3EA) of claim and surveyor (Mr. Amit Gupta – 9810688360).

    Same days, I received a call from Maruti Service Center, informing that, surveyor has approved all the claim suggested by service engineer but not the windscreen. I called surveyor same day and explained that the windscreen was damaged due to accident, but Mr. Amit was not convinced. In next 3..4 days, service engineer tried to convince him technically, as well, my insurance agent about the claim of windscreen but Mr. Amit was totally stubborn and didn’t approved the claim for the same. During the discussion on phone with Mr. Amit Gupta, he was very much unprofessional, rude and un-technical. At some point of time he agreed to approve the 50% claim for windscreen, which shows change of stance on approval, and unprofessional practice. Due to which, there was a delay of one week in service and repair of my car.

    I already sent a letter complaining about this to the Iffco-Tokio branch, which issued the policy and Head office of Iffco-Tokio at Gurgoan on 14th September, but no response received so far.

    Please suggest and advise.

    Cool my claim for no claim why

    dear sir ,
    my name is rajesh rawat and my policy number is 39820094, date 25-6-2009, time 2.5 pm per mene apni bike theft ki complain 9999438449, number se police ko di thi iske bad mene insuance company ko bhi call kiya tha but customer care ne meri complain lodge nahi ki waha se rewart back ye mila ki firstl aap fir lodge karo then ap inform karna same day mene police station and insuarnce company ko inform kiya tha, police ne investigation bhi ki thi but unhone meri fir lodge ki 17-9-2009. phir mene insurance company ko inform kiya waha se mujhe surveyour ka call mila , mene unhe sari formalities poori ki but mera case ab no claim kar diya due to late information jasa ki company ne kaha ha so sir please help me. mujhe apki insurance company se documents ke regarding call aya tha ki ager apne police ko same day inform kiya tha to uska koi proof produce karo, jiske behalf per mene 100 number ki call detail , police fir , police final report, same day ki complain copyy jo mene police station me ki thi regd ad se forward kar di but usko bhi no claim kar diya .

    Thumbs down Complaint aginst star health insurance

    Star health company rejected my claim reason is that co. Says i informed to the company after 2 days , at same day when i admitted to hospital i was so ill/unconcious not in position of intimation , my relatives was also in shock/sad , they do not know where is my policy documents after 2 days when i came in position to speak littel bit ,but not so well normal. I told to my relative to intimate to company at that time toll free no. Was busy so my relative intimate by e-mail , ( i have proof of e-mail ). Now company rejected my claim ,i want to ask to co. A ill /serious patient can intimate on same day to company life is important or intimation now company is giving stupid facts . Please take action .
