I had send my maruti sx-4 car no - 3301 on 30th july 2010 to install a new battery at lucas service centre vadodara.
A part called "ecm" and couple of few other electrical parts got damaged due to the technetians negligance while replacing the battery. (wiring short)
the technetian incharge named mr. Krishnapal and mr. Salim had agreed the mistake and had assured me that the vehicle will be repaired at their cost and will handover the vehicle to me within 2-3 days. They told me to repair the car at a local service person which i insisted and had kept the car at "amar cars" - authorised maruti car service centre.
After checking the car - amar car people had find the fault that it's ecm got damaged, and it needs to be replaced and they had given a estimated cost of rs. 15000/- for the product / material and the service charges will be extra.
Lucas service centre people are not ready to repair the car at this cost and they started to change the statement they will not pay the repairing charges.
They ahd not given the bills for new battery or any challan for the job which they did at their service station.
How can i get justice for this ?
The only evidence which i am having is the recording of the conversation which i had with lucas people.
Could you please help me to get justice.
