I have purchased above Camera from Korea Airport in Oct 11. I could use the same for a month and there after the LCD Screen started diminishing and we thought it may be due to low battery. After that there was no picture, hence it I gave it to Sony Service Center in Vadodara Gujarat for check up.
I now understand that the OLCD screen is damaged from inside ?? I fail to understand when there is no external damage (not even a scratch) to the Camera how the OLCD screen can damage from inside?
We have purchased Sony product with a full trust that, we do not face such problems unless we make mistakes in handling the camera.
I await your favorable reply on the above, so that I get my camera ASAP.

I have not received any reply on my complaint. Where as your Service center in Baroda 390002 ( Parshwa Electronics) have informed me that Screen will be replaced on Chargeable Basis.
The Camera TX100 is having OLCD Screen which is a very hard screen as compared to normal LCD. In that case my question is how this can develop a crack from internal surface.
Since there is No Option we will have to pay the charges, but at the same time we will have to go to consumer court for damages as claimed by the company.
Kindly note as the damage in the OLCD Screen from inside it is a manufacturing defect and needs to be replaced Free of Cost.
Your decision without analyzing the actual reason of failure means we should never buy a Sony Product as there is Quality checks.
