Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I purchased a cannon camera from Croma store in Vashi,Navi Mumbai on 24.04.09 for Rs. 9595 as a gift for someone. The first time we tried using it at home there was an error-E-24'.
I spoke to the Cannon Service Centre immediately and they clearly said that it is a software problem and the store will have to replace the camera.
I called up the store and they said they would not replace it. According to them if there was any problem, they would replace the camera if the complaint was registerd with them within 7 days of purchase. I reported the problem on the 6th day of purchase as I was at home, out of station.
Its alsmost been 10 days and Ive been going to them everyday with the problem. They tell me to talk to the Cannon people and when I talk to them they tell me to talk to the Store. My camera is with them and also the money. They are not willing to return the money either. Its so much of mental torture trying to get the camera replaced.
I would be highly obliged if you could help me with this as 10,000 is a very big amount for me and save me from the physical and mental torture of traveling and going to the store every day.

do you have bill and warranty card? if you do they have to rectify your problem within warranty period
