I bought a camera 4 years back. Suddenly, the Zoom got stuck. It is working without Zoom. Hence I have given for service. They suggest to change the lense! I don't know why we need to change lense! However they say I need to spend 11000-12000 rupees!!! The camera costed me 20000 at that time. I don't understand (neither anyone in the world will understand), how one lense costs so much of the entire camera where you have more than 200other parts. I am no one to comment on it, but think on a consumer point of it, it is not a torture! Infact when I was in service center, each and every fellow was treated same, the service charge asked was very similar to the camera original cost. I had so much respect for Sony till today for the innovations they have brought, I have totally loosing the same! I felt that sony is encouraging use and through business, but I dont think this is going to work in a long run for such an expensive gadgets! request you to please think into this matter. Sony knows very well that I don't have any other choice then throwing the camera and buying the new one, but do they think I will have the same respect for Sony and buy from Sony. And it is absolutely true for any consumer and they will never buy from the same brand.
