I have purchased a Panasonic Lumix Camera DMC-LS5 today from snapdeal.com through Cash On Delivery but the lens of camera is not opening or closing properly from the first time i tried to open it and camera isn’t getting started. Although the box was sealed, there are ink marks and scratches on it like it has been used before. In this model Panasonic provides two AA batteries in the box itself which was not in my case, so where did the batteries go out of box? They also provided me a faulty battery charger which charges only one battery instead of the two and regarding all this when i talked with the customer care representative of snapdeal she told me to go to Panasonic Service Centre. And when i went to Service Centre, they told somebody pushed the lens assembly forcefully to go back so product is physically damaged and if we want to get it repaired, the lens assembly would have to be replaced, which will cost me around 3000-3500 Rs. All these signs indicate that the seal was not genuine and the camera was used before and now it’s not working What a disgust!!! An open cheating from snapdeal.com. So please help me to get refund and if not possible then replacement from snapdeal.com
