    Default Airtel broadband bill issue



    We requested for disconnection of Airtel number 8041554058; Account Number: 13028784 in March 2012. In April, we got a call from Airtel stating that there is Rs.54 outstanding on the connection. We made a payment to the sum of Rs.54.00 on 5th April 2012. Further in May, we made requested payment for outstanding and final amount to the sum of Rs.304.45 using cheque dated 22nd May 2012 as requested by Airtel. Now as of June, we receive an email from their collections department with email id:
    Collections.KK@in.airtel.com
    stating that there is an outstanding amount of Rs.1025.00 on the connection and they threaten to take legal action.

    And further, we have not a received a single bill for this connection after February! How are we suppose to know the amount and how are we suppose to know if that is valid?
