My name is Nashfi Qureshi and my Reliance Broadband Customer ID is 337049451813. I have Unlimited 600kbs + 1Mbps night booster plan for which I pay Rs.750/month. Before installing the connection the Reliance Rep told me that I can download as much as I want as I have unlimited plan and Im paying a bomb for the same. I started using the service and the next day when I started to download a heavy file it downloaded for exactly 10 mins and got disconnected automatically. First I thought that it was a minor issue so i reconnected again and started the download again. Exactly after 10 mins of download the connection disconnected itself. I called the reliance customer care for help, after 30 mins of waiting on hold the call center exec. tells me that Reliance has come out with a new policy that you cannot download for more than 10 mins at a stretch and the ISP will disconnect itself after the given time. I was flabbergasted!! how cheap and dirty can reliance get! First they sell me a plan by telling me that it is an unlimited plan and now they tell me that it is a new policy that my ISP will automatically disconnect after 10 mins if I put anything on download!!!
Guys please don't take Reliance Broadband it has failed to resolve this issue and I feel cheated and harrassed by this company. This is the first forum that I have written on and i will start writing on other forums, Facebook, Twitter and blogs until Reliance resolves this issue for me. My Contact No. is 9867852781
