    Angry Airtel Broadband



    Hi,

    I have been waiting for a refund cheque from Airtel since Feb '12. Can anyone advise me how to go about it? I have been writing to the appellate and nodal officers too, without success. I have been given only reference numbers after another, the latest being 14761616. I could not even keep a track of reference numbers they gave me. I have been receiving calls from Airtel evrytime I write to them telling me that they have sent the cheque but till date, I haven't receive it.

    Could anyone let me know the process of escalation, I really dont know what to do now, but dont want to give up Everyone I spoke to so far from Airtel has been so incompetant. Thank you.

    Here is a summary of what happend

    I have requested for Airtel Broadband Connection on 7 Feb, 2012 with a reference number 557870115. Here's what happened after that.

    > I got a call back and a technician was sent promptly to my house on 10 Feb to collect my documents and fees with TBLR CEF No.431858. The Account Manager OR FSE Name/Code is Damodharam Y / DS1193009. I submitted my documents and paid advance fees.

    > I waited till 16 Feb and since I did not receive any call from Airtel, I called and spoke to Raghvendra B and was given a ref no:11765322. He told me that a technician will visit my place the next day at between 9 to 9:30 AM. I asked him to make a note for the technician to call me prior to coming and told him that I needed leave from work to be at home. He said the technician will call me.

    > 17 Feb, I took leave from work and waited for the technician call. I gave up and called back at 10: 30AM and spoke to Arun Kumar ref: 11803218. He told me that my request (11765322) has been resolved. I was surprised as I was still waiting for the technician. He said there is no available DP in my area so my order has been cancelled.
