Constant Bills & Calls receiving from Airtel Broadband even after cancellation
Hi!
This letter is in regards with the constant bills i keep receiving from Airtel broadband for the ref a/c: 7005561166. I would like to inform that this line is not in use since very long. Just after the installation of the line I had to shift from that building in Kandivali to Versova, Yari Road, and I put a request of either cancellation of my services or transfer of the line to my new address by calling your customer service. I was told that transfer will not be possible as they don't provide their services in that area and they will terminate my connection. Still the second bill came and I called the customer service again to inform about this error and the fact that we have already put cancellation request. yet after few days a collection guy came to the old address and my cousin (its his house) paid Rs 900 on the condition that services should be terminated and we should not receive any further bills. The collection guy from Airtel, also assured us that the services will be terminated but nothing happened. The bills kept coming along with many calls from Airtel customer service, about paying them. I kept explaining them that we have terminated our services and they shouldn't be calling me. (To verify my words you can check the data usage on this line of last 5 months which must be zero). Last month I received a collection letter of a bill amount of 1552.04 which stated that they will take some action against me in case I will not pay my dues in next seven days. On July 8, I replied to the concerned department at 'vishu.soni@in.airtel.com', mentioning the same, explaining my ordeal with Airtel . I expected things to end but now I have received another bill from Airtel for the month of August. I'm sick of sending you mails and explaining people calling me from Airtel. I have never faced such hassle in my life and has been a loyal customer of airtel with many of my friends and family using Airtel's services. I'm incapable in seeing any reason for Airtel sending me constant bill when I have already spoken about its cancellation with so many people in your organization. I can understand that one odd bill could pop out as someone didn't process my cancellation request in time and that's why I paid Rs 900 when I should not have paid even that. This looks like a joke which Airtel has chosen to play with me.
Now I request you to terminate the services on this line and not send me any further bill.

Airtel harassing customers post disconnection Hi,
I was airtel customer for 5 years (number 8041172715 and acc number Account no: 15637163) with 1700/- p.m. plan and i have always paid bill well before time and been very loyal customer. I was also very impressed and recommended the connection to many of my colleagues.
Recently april 1st 2012 I shifted to my newly built house which is just a km from my old apt. I requested for shifting of connection and they informed me that its not feasible to shift as its not feasible. So I requested for disconnection. No one came to collect the device or for disconnection. I moved out of the apartment. Airtel kept on sending me bills and i kept on repsonding to them informing that i had disconnected and no one came to collect the equipment.
Different representatives used to call me regularly and i had to explain the same story to each of them everyday. Its such a mental torture.
Now I receive a call from some zodiac associates stating this their legal dept and i need to pay or face legal action. I have complete proof of my communication with them since the day i requested disconnection. I have wasted so much time attending to so many representatives. Its me who is supposed take legal action here.
Please help resolve this.
I never expected this from airtel and I regret being associated with it.

I see Airtel is purposefully threatening old customers. They copy paste the same statement for all It seems that Airtel presence is just fooling you all by copy pasting the same statement, just see you can't find a simple reply by Airtel relevant to the issue. They are just posting the same for all and then again harassing us all.
They are doing it purposefully to old customers once they know we are no longer going to user Airtel services. They are really unethical by giving threat calls.
In my case, I got a confirmation via phone and on the forum that my issues is resolved and that was on january 2012. But after so many months now in August 2012, I again got a call from some lawyer saying that I need to go to Delhi and pay the bill.
This is ridiculous, why would I pay for their mistake and even after being constantly harrassed.
I THINK WE ALL WHO HAVE COMPLAINT ON AIRTEL SHOULD MEET SOMEWHERE AND SUE THEM FOR MENTAL HARASSMENT AND THREATENING.
IF ANYONE IS WILLING THEN LETS UNIT AND CLAIM COMPENSATION FROM AIRTEL.

My issue is dating back on Nov-2011 which you already confirmed solved. Why the hell do your guys keep disturbing me on phone time and again.
YOU ARE SIMPLE COPY PASTING THE SAME STATEMENTS TO ALL. DO you even read the issues posting here or just post the auto responses for every
complaint?

Unfair legal notice by Airtel I have had Airtel broadband for almost 3 years. In March 2012, I moved to USA, and asked aitel to cancel my connection. They kept telling me to transfer to a friend, and did not disconnect. Now Airtel sends me a Legal notice for Rs. 6796. This is unfair, and complete harassment by airtel. 6796. My landline number is 08042150691.

call from delhi megistrate for non-payment of airtel bill Hi ,
My customer number for airtel was 16410407 and phone number: 08041170241 and I got relocated from my prev address 6 months ago, today I got a call from some guy saying he is from delhi magistrate , that airtel has issued two notice againt me , and by tomorrow if I don't come in court they will take some action. I don't know why airtel has not sent any mail communication and I didn't receive any hard copy notice also. Airtel should at least call for any non-payment, but not the direct call from court. and I am in Bangalore, then why I am getting call from delhi?? Kindly clarify this issue?? and at least I should have a non-payment bill, but there is no communication like that.
