hi, we had asked for a newbroadband connection and an airtel representative came in last weekto settup. but due to technical difficulties he was unable to provide us with speed of 4mbps that was promised with the plan. unhappy with the service we asked for a cancellation. for last 10 days we have been calling air tel customer care to know the status and to proceed with the cancellation. but the representatives have not been helpful all. they would not connect to cancellation department. and even if they do connect the call gets disconnected within a minute. not able to talk to that dept. we would like immediate action to be taken for the cancellation and get refund of Rs1100 thats was taken from us before the setup. Horrible Experience- Airtel Broadband Connection Shifting & Disconnection This is an e-mail I wrote to Airtel and NCR Nodal team a week ago. Unfortunately, I have not received a reply or even an acknowledgement from Airtel.

Dear Sir,
I am writing to you with a hope and request to get me rid of my Airtel fixed-line/broadband services. The series of events and interactions with the Airtel call centres over the last month have left me with a bitter taste which have forced me to plead an end to my decade old relationship with Airtel. I use one broadband connection and 6 airtel mobile numbers (details below) for my family and unfortunately am a shareholder of Bharti Airtel as well. I am shocked with the quality of service that is being offered by Airtel and can only appeal to get me rid of your fixed line connection.
I have described below the long ordeal with your airtel customer care to get my Airtel fixed line shifted and subsequently even agreeing (on their insistence) to discontinue my services. I apologize for the length of the description but the month long ordeal that left me just as a closed complaint in your systems, warranted a three para description. Please read through the e-mail if you have the time or please request someone to amiably resolve my problem.

Request for Shifting (12th June'12)
I have been using the Airtel fixed line service since 2008 (A/C No, 14177267, Phone No. 011-45540211), and recently I shifted my house for which I requested Airtel to shift my connection to my new residence (Kirti Nagar). The customer care team contacted me and told me that its infeasible to provide a connection at my new residence based on the local line man report. But to my shock, the customer care executive (Ms. Saroj/Mr. Deepak Ram Lakhan) promptly told me that he/she is putting a disconnection request, which I refused due to a hope that there must be a solution to continue my relationship with Airtel.
Request for Disconnection (July first week)
I contacted Airtel again and requested a resolution to which the team reiterated that they are helpless beyond an infeasible report from the local team. I accepted the technical constraint and finally raised a request for disconnection. There was no action or communication from Airtel and when I received my bill for the full period, I realised that no action has been taken on my request. I contacted the call centre again (ref no. 18232166) to check the status of the request and to my shock your representative (Mr. Dinesh Kumar in your records who quoted his name to me as Praveen Sahu) told me that they have no records of the request and he will raise a fresh request. He assured me that my connection will be disconnected by the resolution team and I assured him that I will pay my bill this month (which I did).
Irresponsible and Highly Uncoordinated Resolution Department (13 July Onwards)
Multiple members of your resolution team contacted me umpteen times me to check whether I have raised a disconnection request and gave me their recorded speeches to suggest that I can transfer my number to a relative, to which I had a standard NO as an answer. Out of the blue after a couple of weeks a lady from the resolution team called and told me that to retain me as a customer, Airtel is willing to install the broadband connection at my new residence, to which I foolishly agreed. The next day I got another call from a rude executive from the resolution team who said we are disconnecting your connection, to which I was obviously shocked. I told him that I had an assurance from your team of shifting my connection to which he said your residence is 25 mts more than the permissible distance (100mts) from the box. I asked him to check and he assured me of a response in 24 hours.
I never got a call from any of your team and all I got was the next month bill. I called up today (24th July'12) to check the status of my request to which I was told that my complaint has been closed because I was not reachable (Please mind that I use an airtel number and was at home on 14th July when your team claims to have tried contacting me). I was shocked and I had no option but to plead you for a relief from this horrific experience.

Reg Airtel PC Secure activated without my knowledge and billed Rs.85 for the same My Name is Saravanan R.My airtel land Line number is 04442859928.I have been using Airtel Broadband Connection since 2006.For the past three to 4 months in my bill i am being charged for Airtel PC secure - Rs 85 even though i have not opted for the PC secure. and each time i have to call the Customer care and cancel this 85 rs. this has become a regular routine.Going further please make sure that this Airtel PC secure is not activated to my account .

sir,
we are very sorry to inform you that we are not at all satisfied with your internet sevices. We are using your internet service since 2009 but from past 4 months we are facing many problems. From april 2012 your server is not working properly. The bill amount also increased during this peroid.
We also made the complaint agaist the increase in bill amount & your executive told us that some antivirus has been uploaded from our side but we never choosed any. We asked your executives many a time to get it removed from our plan but no one took the action so far & they kept on genrating the bill with it.
We made the first complaint on 22 nd of july(complaint no. 19410122) , then on 28th of july , then on 31 st july (complaint no. 19528738). But no action has been taken from your side till now & the antivirus download amount has been added to the bill amount of july which is unexpectively high..we also had a call form your side on 3rd of july that there was some server problem from airtel side due to which we were not able to use the net sevice form 22nd of july to 4 th of august….,then how can you generated such a big bill amount ? We were also charged for the additonal bities which we had never purchased from our side.
Sir, if you want that we continue with the services & pay the bill amount then plaese deducted unnecessary amounts which you have added in our bill & strictly make sure that no antivirus should be added in our plan in future also.
Waiting for some strict & positive reply.yourt timely action in this regard will highly be appreciated & a motivation for us to continue your sevices in near future also.
