Airtel - no commitments fulfiled from beginning Dear CONSUMER COURT,
I complaint many a times here regerding cancellation and refund of security deposit with AIRTEL BROADBAND. I was assured that it is company's policy that refund would be given by cheque by post within 45 days.
My Complaint: It has been more that 15-16 times I complained through e-mail to AIRTEL BROADBAND, more than 20 times i called up AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE, more than 3 visits to AIRTEL HEAD-OFFICE Jalandhar, But what I get is only Harrassment. As per section 15,17 of THE INDIAN CONTRACT ACT, Airtel has commited many a times many things which were never fulfilled and also no concern was taken by them only a reply "Your concern has been registered and we will get to you by ____(date)".
My previous complaint here was also ignored and no reply was given.
Illegal lien has been exercised on my deposit of Rs 500 which is against Section 170-171 of Contract ACT.
My connection number was : 0181-4621017
At this website also, I only got the same reply but no concern was taken by them into consideration so I assume AIRTEL is not only committing FRAUD with people but also with this consumer court Forum.
I also confirmed on 29feb,2012 for refund issues and was told that it is listed and will be given by 20 MARCH,2012. Now Airtel Office people say to call to the customer care which i cant because I have number is disconnected and I have no number to enter when it eletronically demands
Since 45 days have expired I demand a interest from AIRTEL at rate given by banks on Saving Deposits.
