Billing ID 100000116993832 - I have cancelled my broadband connection with Reliance Broadband in March 2011, and all infrastructure (modem, wires etc) was returned to them in March 2011 itself. The final bill for outstanding dues was paid by me in March 2011 as well. However, since then - from June 2011 until now, February 2012 - I have been repeatedly harassed with phone calls from them demanding payment of broadband charges (INR 2625) for the months of April, May and June 2011 - during which time I neither had an active connection nor did I even possess their modem or wires. Any analysis of data for this month will obviously indicate ZERO usage by my customer ID.

I have exchanged countless complaints with Reliance CustomerCare, placed numerous complaints with their Nodal officer as well, all of which have resulted in no response from Reliance except for further phone calls demanding payment of INR 2625. It is completely ridiculous for a consumer to be harassed like this for payment of charges subsequent to termination of the connection. I can see from this website that this seems to be a frequent tactic of Reliance Communications and several consumers have been harassed in this manner.
