This is to your kind notice that I purchased a Reliance NetConnect+ from Reliance World, Indiranagar, Bangalore on 24 Dec 2011, under Advance Rental Plan (APR), wherein I was given the device free on payment of Rs 2477/- which was 3 months rental in advance with the Data Card # 7483314955 being and the RSN RZTCDC110369967. I was excited to be part of the offer and paid Rs 2477/- and bought the device by producing valid address proof, ID and Photograph.

Though, initially I was produced with a bill of Rs 1374/- and was informed that the residual bill for Rs 1103/- would be provided by the same day evening as it needs to be generated by back end. On my request the shop keeper (Rajesh - 080 32500982) agreed to scan the bill and send it to me as it was difficult for me to commute back to collect it.

I was able to connect the internet using the Reliance NetConnect+ even without activating it, least to understand later that it was already activated under someone else name. On follow up after 2-3 days, I couldnt get the bill for the residual amount. Hence, requested my wife to collect it from the shop. However, my wife was sent back again saying the bill has not yet been generated again. After a week, when she approached again shop keeper was unable to find any bill in my name and she was given a bill, which was manually created out of a Microsoft Word Document with a Reliance Seal.

I was using the Reliance NetConnect+ and it was upto my satisfaction. After nearly, 12 days I thought of the options in which I have to pay the bill after my 3 month tenure. Hence, when I explored the options online, I found that the Reliance Data Card I was using was registed to Naveed Khan and not in my name. When I called up the 1 800 3000 5555 it was indeed registed in Naveed Khan's name and the bill plan was 5GB Silver Plus and not APR. Call Centre executive advised me to get in touch with the shop to get clarification on the matter.

As per their advice, I went to the shop next day and brought up the issue to the shop owner Raju's (9590765535) kind notice, however to my surprise they were already aware of the issue and had taken least intrest in getting it rectified. They assured me that the issue would be escalated the to the back end team person by name Syed (9379911777) and assured me that it would be rectified within 3-4 days, on my insistance that I wanted the issue to be resolved and was not happy to use the device under someone else name. He also assured me that I wouldnt have to pay anything extra or monthly rental as the Bill Plan registered under the device was APR and not 5GB Silver Plus.

Even after more than a week, I didnt get any update or call from the shop owner Raju. On puruse, I found that it would take more time and that it should be resolved at the earliest. Raju informed me that as the Plan registered was APR, I could use the internet without any problem for 3 months and by that time the issue would have been resolved.

Worst to my nightmare, the device stopped working on 7th Feb 2012, when enquired with the call centre executive, I found that the account had been suspended, as the Bill was not paid on the internet usage as the plan was registered as 5GB Silver Plus and not APR. On explaining the above situation, they advised me to contact the shop owner.

On approaching the Shop owner via phone, he was not co-operative and took least intrest in the matter, he informed me that they have escalated the issue and that they are awaiting a response. I informed him that I am unable to connect to internet and was at loss. He informed me that he would not be able to help in anyway as the servers were down. Informed him that I would have to take up the issue with Consumer Court if no solution was provided on the matter as it was not my responsibility and that I had paid for the service in advance.

Shop Owner was abusive on the call saying that he would not care for such things and advised me to come over to the shop and escalate it to Nodal officer. I denied to go to his shop and requested him to pursue the matter, for which he disconnected the call. On my further contacts, he did not pick up my phone.

On taking up the issue with Syed, he was least intrested on the issue and informed me that he has to check the status of the issue, which is very clear that as the account was registed in Naveed Khan's name with 5GB Silver Plus Plan, it has been disconnected. Atleast, Syed assured me to give me a call by 12PM on 8th Feb 2012, which I am still expecting.

Request you to look into this matter and rectify it at the earliest, as I as a Consumer if suffering and going through loss and pain for a mistake which is not mine. Appreciate your quick look into the matter and resolve it and compensate me, as its more than 1 and half months since, I am running around this from pillar to post, spending money on phone calls.
