On 13 Feb, I got a call call from reliance saying that my problem will be resolved on 14 and say what it did get..thank you reliance..I'm not porting to airtel now...thanks a lot..cheers!!

Hello, my name is yogesh chandra and I am a reliance customer. I was using GPRS plan for rs 99. Surfing internet was horrifying at speed hardly catching up to 5kbps. Then I decided to call customer care to resolve my problem. I was given a request no. 171121543 after so many attempts and promised that it will be resolved within 4 days. Then I received a message that my request has been proceased, but there was no improvement. I again called them. This time they promised to resolve my problem and gave me yet another request number as 171420274 to be processed within 4 days. But that too didn't work.
Then I gave up hopes and opted to switch to 3g, hoping it may work. I made a recharge for 225 which promised 1gb data usage for one week. Recharge was successful, however, no 3g balance was credited to my account. Then I had to make 2 back-to-back complaints bearing request numbers 17160877 and 171751660, and it was only then that I got my 1gb data.
Now the trivia is that despite promising 3g data, I am getting around 5kbps speed only. Calling customer care doesn't help. What am I supposed to do now?
Consumer is the most vulnerable species today.
*i am using Sony Ericsson's live with the walkman which is 3g enabled (hsdpa 1800).
