    Default Airtel IPTV Shifting Request issue

    Hi Airtel Team,


    I had applied for shifting of my IPTV - broadband connection from #501, 1st Floor, Sector -23, Gurgaon - 122001 to #3790, 1st Floor, Sector - 23, Gurgaon - 122001. I applied for the movement on 5th of Decemeber 2011. My landline number is 0124-4039998.


    I kept calling AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE every day to follow up on the movement for around 15 days. Every day, one or other customer executive apologizes for the inconvenience and commits that the connection will be moved the next day. I spoke to some senior executives named Ashwini Kumar Singh and one lady(floor supervisor), they had nothing better to say other than apologizing for the inconvenience and committing that you will get a call from the technical department within the next two hours. Nothing as such happened.


    Also, multiple times it has happened that I have called Customer Care and got an input that the application is down and they cannot check the status right now and call after 2 hours to get the updates. Y'day it happened 3 times that I called with a gap of 2 hours and every time the application was down.

    Everytime I called to the Customer Care, I told that I will not be paying any bills for this time period in which I am not using the connection and Customer Care always told that they have updated my profile according to that and any such bills will be waived of.



    On 4th January, I got a call from Customer Care that the connection cannot be shifted due to some technical issue and thus I must place a disconnect request for my connection.

    I placed the disconnect request on 5th of January and also informed the customer care that I won't be paying any bills which are due as of today i.e. 5th Jan and the profile was updated accordingly as per the Customer Care.

    Today, 24th Jan - I received a call a while back from Mr. Deepak from Airtel TeleMedia Services (New Delhi) telling me that a bill is pending for me.
    I have already given him the details that I won't be paying the bills as I have not used the services and there was an open issue to shift the connection.

    Please take a strict action against for dealing with their customers in such a bad way,
